Pretty sure Bama had the ball at the end of that game.

No. I am saying the refs conveniently couldn't see him but for sure would have thrown a flag if Bert were a player.

Exactly what the local radio station announcers said......minus the flag portion. I mean how in the hell can all the refs not notice fatty bouncing around the field waving his arms like a mad man. He was almost close enough to make a block. Given the other downright ridiculous calls, I have a funny feeling that had bama not scored... they would have flagged bert

I watch all the conference games and Penn always seems to make blatantly wrong calls in bamas favor. It just seems odd I don't come across it more in other games. I mean we are not talking PI calls or other calls that can go either way... its plain negligence.

Nothing like flaming things that didn't happen. Poor Arkansas can't even get calls in their home stadium. Bama tried to give Arkansas the game multiple times. Try not to fumble on the one yard line next time. That's what you should be pissed about, not if you should have had 10 seconds for a miracle at the end of the game.

Saw this and wondered why Bert wasn't throwing a fit...

Guess he was ready to go home?

Any word on the 300 LB guy in the white windbreaker who was in the middle of the field trying to call time out?

This isn't about what the teams did or did not do.. its about the refs. Stay on topic, don't make me hold your hand. You know there is no possible way big bert can be invisible to the refs and the refs don't know the rules about the clock.

He really is bad. He looks constantly confused and his calls suck.

Said during his presser he questioned a ref who did not answer as everyone fled the field.

Pretty sure that was Bama's 4th quarter defense. I'm sure Arkansas would have driven 50 yards for a FG try with 10 seconds left on the clock.

Punt return for a TD or at least to put them in FG range. You never know. Stranger things have happened.

Its called confirmation bias, numb nuts. You see what you want to see. PLENTY of calls go against Bama, every game.

I bet you were sure Auburn wouldn't beat Bama in regulation last year when Bama was lined up to kick the winning FG with one second left too. Sh*t happens. Didn't Forrest teach you anything?

Yeah, I'm the numb nuts for making a distinction between regular calls and down right ignoring coaches and the rules.

You would be livid if the shoe was on the other foot. The refs ignored saban jumping up and down in the middle of the field and allowed the clock to illegally wind down.

I'm sure its a coincidence that the only people here with a good opinion of Penn are bama fans.

Never said I have a good opinion of him, but to say that he favors Bama is dumb.

I read somewhere that on OJ howard's long catch and run an offensive lineman for Alabama is like 10 yards down field and it was never called.

Penn's crew is awful all day everyday

no difference Bama did all they could to give us that game and we just have clue how to win yet

This was burt trying to call time out because we were in the wrong defense. Result of the refs missing a giant hunk of a man nearly at the hash marks was a Bama TD.

Really? This is the hill you're going to die on? Refs miss timeout calls all the time. For this to be some kind of conspiracy, the refs would have to have known that Alabama was about to score a touchdown. Are Penn Wagers and his crew psychics now, too?
