Why are you arguing this?

Because that one specific play was luck.

It's not about him as a whole, just the one play. I've said it several times he's played very well this year.

He's lucky.
Nothing more.
Onward.

Mike Evans accounts for almost 40% of JFF's production through the air. Who is the real hero.

Could have been picked. Again, using hindsight doesn't make it a smart play.
You are using a freaking hindsight that didnt even happen to make it a bad play

Again, it is about that one particular play.

I don't think you know what hindsight means if that's how you're trying to use it.

So you admit the play included both skill and luck?

The scramble yes, (but even that could be construed as pretty lucky, not many quarterbacks get away from that), that throw was all luck. There wasn't a modicum of skill in that throw.

Gotcha.
Again, just curious about the impassioned stick-to-it-ness on your part.

So, uh, you have no idea what hindsight is, do you?

It's not an either/or, mutually exclusive scenario.
Both are freakish athletes.

Look, here is my point. I absolutely hate people that talk about luck in sports. This play reminds me of the David Tyree catch in the super bowl. Was luck involved? Hell yeh. But so was an extreme amount of skill. Eli had to avoid a sure sack and Tyree had to out jump an Nfl safety. JFF used his skills in order to allow himself the opportunity to get lucky

That play really pisses you off, doesn't it?

Now you know how defensive coordinators usually feel against A&M

Tough shite. Luck is a factor in just about everything.

And once again, no one talks about that play if the lucky as hell catch doesn't happen.

Oh please, since the Bama game which was Evans' coming out party, Johnny has had to spray the rock all over the field.

A fricking walk on senior (Travis Labhart) has been having monster, multiple-touchdown outings, for crying out loud

BUT IT DID. Accept it. Both Eli and Jff used an extreme amount of skill and athleticism to allow themselves the opportunity to get lucky. A man makes his own luck.
