You're right, it was all luck

That one catch not getting defended or picked after being lobbed up against Bama is nothing but luck, absolutely.

We'll see.

I would then say with that not being Evans it actually makes the throw and catch "luckier" for lack of a better word. Alot of poorly timed jumpes by the Alabama secondary.

I hope LSU wins, but I now want to see JFF have 600 yards passing on 30 jump balls.

Did he take away the luck power from Evans as well? Because that is how Evans makes all those jump ball catches. He gets it from eating lucky charms the morning before the game with Johnny

Dude, you didn't even know who caught the ball until just now. Not taking you seriously anymore.

A rational perspective, how refreshing.

So it wouldnt have been lucky for Bama to catch it, but it is lucky if A&M catches it. Interesting

He is going to get over 500 yards regardless. Might as well watch your head explode in the process

Of course it would have been lucky. That's the whole point. It was a 50/50 ball that A&M was lucky to get. A pass like that one ends 3 ways, and two of them are bad.

Too bad I never said anything like that. Any more brilliance you'd like to share?

My head won't explode, doesn't mean I want to see it.

Neither did you

And it's kind of a moot point. Like I said, Pope basically took the ball away from Evans. If Pope didn't catch it, Evans would have.

Obviously, JFF knew where to throw it so multiple receivers of his could high point the ball.

Feel free to view it however you like, I don't need a group of idiots agreeing with me to know it was luck.

Yep, it was a drawn up play. I must have just not realized that.

So now, two receivers with legit shots to bring that pass in, and in better position than the opposing secondary, is a "50/50 ball"?

Ah, I see--you don't know football. Carry on, my good man

Anyone saying that play was more skill than luck unfortunately falls into that category.
