For every decent play he makes I can give you one where he threw it poorly and was bailed out by his wide receivers. I drank the koolaid last year but this year? I've seen so many terrible, horrendous throws that were turned into positives because of his wide receivers bailing him out.
The GIF above is just one of the many.

I honestly don't see many great plays that Johnny does. He has a bunch of ballhawking receivers who just get it done.
You must be blind.

More drivel.
Just say you hate him and be done with it.
Your feeble attempts at rationalizing aren't even troll-worthy. They're just pathetic.
Or if you actually believe the shite you're spitting, then I reiterate: you're ignorant.

Are you trolling? Again, the GIF above was a brilliant play. It was third and long from just outside FG range.
Manziel is completing like 75% of his throws this year, and he really doesn't throw much short stuff. Dude has fantastic accuracy.

Brilliant because he scrambled, or because his receiver in the midst of five defenders bailed him out? I'm not denying he makes plays, you don't put up numbers like that without doing it but you also can't deny that there are tons of bad throws he makes that with a worse receiving corps in no way would be completed.

''I'm not going to read your statement.'' I'm sorry, but if you call me ignorant without reading what I stated I believe it's contradictory.

In truth most of Johnny's plays aren't highlight reel worthy. Most of the time he just executes the offense and shreds through a team. It's just a few times a game he goes "Playstation Johnny" and does something crazy. His biggest skill is elusiveness but he also can make some incredible throws, especially across his body (likely because he was a great Baseball Shortstop). His ability to put touch on the ball and throw accurately is also very underrated.
Here is a highlight film for this year that really just has his first few games, while there are some lucky plays in there most of them are just tremendous playmaking.

That play displayed his great allusivness which I am by no means stripping him of but you cannot convince me that the throw was anything short of luck. Sure he had an idea that there was a receiver in the area and he knew he had to get rid of the ball. He also knew that if he did throw a pick on that 3rd down it would most likely be no different than a punt. I'm not saying it wasn't a great play and under the circumstance to beat a team like Alabama those are the plays you have to make but come on....

Jesus Christ I thought I was crazy for a second.
In that first half alone there were three plays where he just lobbed it up and the DB just wasn't looking for the ball.

Just wanted to point out I knew JFF would be better this year. Here is a quote I had for the dumbass fans who thought he would suck this year.
"I now know why the rest of the country thinks SEC fans are stupid and arrogant: it is because we are. Everyone was saying the same dumb crap last year, "Welcome to the SEC Faggies!!! Yalls offense wont work here in SEC country!! YEEEHAAWWW. SEC defenses will murder Johnny Football!!!! The South will Rise Again" And what happened, A&M had their best season in years, beat the SEC champion, and had the heisman winner. But once again, dumbass rednecks are at it again this year."

No, he threw it up for grabs off his back foot into a crowd and was LUCKY it wasn't picked or fell incomplete. How you can call that play anything other than lucky is beyond me. He's made a lot of great plays, but that particular one was all luck.

quote:No, it was an extremely smart play. It was third down and he threw it to the 20 yard line. Who gives a shite if it is intercepted.

Then they lost to a terrible Florida team that some how gumped its way to a record of 11 - 2.

Yeah, because interceptions can't be returned for touchdowns ever.

It is extremely smart on third and long to throw it downfield to you big receiver. Sorry you dont know football

Can you read? It was lucky it was completed was my point. It had nothing to do with JFF's skill, it was all luck that ball got completed. You don't air a ball out falling off your back foot into a crowd against Bama and then claim it was skill when it luckily is completed.

''He's brilliant! He threw it up in the air with no regard for interceptions because he knew his receivers would tackle the defender or catch it! What a display of amazing skill!'' Do you guys listen to yourselves?

Yes, he was lucky it was completed. Yes, it was a brilliant play.
I honestly wonder if some of you are retarded. If he doesn't throw it, Bama will be getting the ball around the 10. If he does throw it, either one of his 6'6 WRs will go get it, or it will be incomplete, or Bama will get it around the 20. He made the right decision.

Lucky and brilliant don't go in the same hand IMO. The play against MSU was brilliant. A lucky lob into the air while falling down is not.
