Bama being #4 was done to drive ratings and storyline even further for Saturday. This is the first unofficial playoff game of #2 vs. #4.

I would literally quit watching football if this scenario played out and LSU wasn't #4.

I'll go ahead and throw the bullshite flag on this one.

Believe what you want but 2011 irks me to this day. If the same scenario happens in reverse with LSU having an even better situation than 2011 bama (with the loss away instead of at home, and having beat the SEC east champs, and having beat the team that beat the #1 team), then I quit. I'm done. I'll still follow LSU, but I wont be there watching the games on saturdays. I'll probably get more into video games or something to occupy my time. It would literally crush what I believe in, with regards to this sport, and I wish I was kidding. If LSU loses this weekend I'll be hoping LSU loses again so I dont have to think about this scenario.

Based on their only loss coming to the undisputed #1 team in their home by a field goal, and trouncing all other opposition and beating the SEC East champs and having the heisman player. And beating the team that beat the #1 team. It would be a stronger SOS by a slight margin than a 1 loss Big 12 champ.

Edit: In fact, what guarantees LSU a spot at #4 over 1 loss big 12 is the fact that LSU would have also defeated the SEC east champs, same as Alabama.

What're you confused about? Big 12 champion hypothetically has 1 loss. That 1 loss is to a 2 loss big 12 team.

LSU has 1 loss, in an away game to the #1 team in the land, by 3 points. Coincidentally, LSU also defeats Florida, and Florida's only 2 losses are to alabama (for more controversy, both 7 point losses.) LSU also has a heisman player, and also beats the only team at their place that beats the #1 team.

An OBJECTIVE person picks LSU over the 1 loss big 12 champ in this scenario.

Bama won't beat LSU.

The reason Bama was #4 is b/c they're planning on putting a 2-loss Bama team in the playoff.

LSU will have to win the rematch this go-round.
