Everything gets factored in by the committee. You can't un-see LSU win on the field and Auburn get saved by Birmingham.
Well Corky, then the committee would take into account that if the refs did not drop the flag then LSU never gets the chance at the last play. Tick for tack.

LSU dropped 11 spots when they lost to Bama by ten, I expect the same thing happen to Auburn

I think LSU would fill the stands.
I think the city would rather fill the hotel rooms and sell trinkets than fill the stadium. Lot of LSU fans would just drive in for the game then drive back home. A half full stadium of fans staying in the city a couple of nights would have more economic impact than a full stadium of locals.

LSU
It’s not often a four-loss team sneaks into the Sugar Bowl — in fact, it hasn’t happened since four-loss Florida State was invited 14 years ago (the Seminoles lost to Georgia, 26-13) — but there’s a surprisingly easy path to New Orleans for the Tigers.
If LSU beats Texas A&M on Thanksgiving night, Auburn loses the Iron Bowl to Alabama and Florida loses its final two games to Florida State and Alabama (all expected results), Louisiana State would have an excellent shot at the bid. If Tennessee loses to Vanderbilt this weekend, then LSU would have the bid locked up.

Looks that way. Sugar Bowl gotta be pumped.

Auburn will sell just as many tickets to the Sugar Bowl as LSU and we would get hotel rooms. Auburn is just a bigger draw.

Do you honestly think you can overhaul an offense in two weeks? Lolololol fricking retard
We will get healthy in 4 weeks
LSUs offense will still suck in 4 weeks

Have to think head to head would play a large role in it
Plus - traditionally seems like the sugar bowl is not too pumped about LSU getting the nod - yes we will gobble tix, and spend a lot of cash - but that is usually one or 2 days max. We come in day before the game or game day - many have friends and family in Nola - cuts down on hotel rooms - and so on

How is getting beat 10-0 any worse then getting beat 30-12? Please elaborate. You had about 40 yards when you kicked 3 of those field goals. The fact is both lost to Alabama.

The stigma attached to a shutout

I must have misread the reaction to Orgeron because I've seen very few LSU fans that are happy with this hire.
I thought I explained that. Those of us complaining about O getting the job here are in the minority. It's crazy and proves that there are a lot of idiots in this fanbase, but the majority of LSU fans aren't just happy, they are thrilled with this hire. Just go look at just about any LSU group on Facebook. They are overrun with the crazy.

Will be interesting to see what the CFP rankings look like this week.
LSU fell a long ways after playing Bama a decent game and only losing 10-0. LSU also went on the road and blistered aTm.
True, but a ton of teams from 12-25 got beat this week. So, who knows?
