Yea, but you can't un-see the fact that LSU actually made the play to win the game on the road. Birmingham changed the score but the play still happened and everyone including the committee saw it.

If a "play" is something that happens after the game is over, then sure.

Actually, to be factual and accurate... The "play" did hapoen and was ruled a TD by the game officials. The score was then changed after the game by Birmingham. Just facts.

Having tie-ins for the NY6 bowls is dumb. Should be the next 8 teams not in the playoff.

Kind of like 18-13, right? And Auburn winning?

I have already stated the amended outcome but neither I nor the committee have to agree with Birmingham. The "play" DID happen. This is NOT a "what if" situation. Everything gets factored in by the committee. You can't un-see LSU win on the field and Auburn get saved by Birmingham.

I actually believe the committee will move LSU ahead of Auburn, but it won't be for that reason. You'd have to forget that Auburn won that game in every conceivable way except in the red zone also. I saw that with my own eyes.

In the end it is simple perception. Without its offensive weapons Auburn is perceived as impotent right now while LSU has the perception of being better than earlier in the year. I expect Auburn to be in the 23-25 range this week and LSU to be in the 21-22 range.

Will be interesting to see what the CFP rankings look like this week.

LSU fell a long ways after playing Bama a decent game and only losing 10-0. LSU also went on the road and blistered aTm.

Auburn didn't get saved by Birmingham, you deranged frick.

Like always, LSU had poor clock management and couldn't even get the play off.

Blame your coaches and players.

18-13.

You know what I remember the most about that play? I remember the clock reading zeroes with the ball still in LSU's center's hand.

I think LSU would fill the stands.

I do not plan to go to New Orleans.
