UGA will hire Bobo before Smart
Does Bobo or Richt call the plays? I love UGA's play calling, just curious who the real brains are behind it.

The guy makes a crap ton of money, will be in the running for a championship nearly every year and doesn't have to put up with the pressure that a head coach does.
What's stupid about that?

Bobo calls the plays.
In terms of Bobo being preferred over Smart, Bobo is rumored to have the support of the major donors at UGA. Smart does not have many sympathizers at UGA after the last DC search

I believe Saban retires in ~5 years and Kirby takes over the reigns. It appears that's what he wants.

Really? I did not think Bobo was held in that hi of a standing. Plus if CMR finally gets ran off I would think the whole staff would be gone.
That would be true, but CMR isn't close to getting run off
Eta- Bobo is held in very high regard by people who matter at UGA

If anyone wants to know how Kirby smart will do as a HC look at Will Msuchamp is doing.
Same guy.
Same guy.

Objectively it's true. In literally every category other than history.

We'll see if he stays. Saban's "dynasty" is contingent on a great staff. Look what he did at LSU and where these coaches are now. WOW! But then again Tricky Nicky NEVER liked to stick around. If Saban bolts for Texas then Smart can take over at Ala. He may be better than Saban. He's just too young and high-strung for me. When they show him on the sidelines he's a heart-attack waiting to happen. Ahhhhhhh!

That explains a lot about where UGA is.

Two former A&M coaches have won 7 National Championships and 14 SEC Championships at Bama

Maybe no one really wants Kirby?
Or, more likely at the lesser educated SEC schools, maybe they confuse him with the Nintendo Kirby when his name comes up? Although, on second thought, I'd probably rather have Nintendo Kirby than the other.

tamu should've known sumlin wouldn't have an offense as bad arse as last year and could've gotten a legit hc somewhere. Now their team can't score or stop a hs offense or whatever, which really weakens Sumlin's 1 year resume of spectacular offense. Since Sumlin signed their deal, tamu really has no choice other than go to the Mac/USA/sb conference or stay for another half decade and give up 40 pts a game/go 8-4 each year. I honestly don't see any brighter future for tamu than they could've had last year. What say you rant?
