Cam isn't that fast. 4.59 isn't flyin

He arse raped the SEC in 2010. I didn't like him either but there wern't to many catch him in the open field. I guess we are talking about TT Towel's "football speed" now. Whatever it was he had it.

+1 on your post, but could you immagine what it would have been like had LSU won??? If a BAMA fan said the sky was blue after Nov. 5 there would immediatley be 10 LSU fans hollering 9-6.

I know most gave yall a hard time, but I wasn't one of them. I've said all along that bama was a great team and were the only ones who could match up with LSU and vice versa. I know why bama fans are giving the LSU fans a hard time and think the LSU fans who posted that deserve it. There is just so many 50 yard line jokes and pat on the backs I can take

The Bayou seemed to ignore the New Orleans classic written by Alan Toussaint warning

Yea, kind of.

When you watched Cam running, and not being chased by defenders, it looked like he was running slow. Then you add in defenders chasing him and it appeared as if he was REALLY moving. Kind of like when he excellerated away from Patrick Peterson in 2010. He just had football speed. A 4.59 is good for his size, but he just appeared to run faster on the field. I just see the total opposite of Hightower on the field.

Funky may have been right. Hightower may have good straight line speed, but bad lateral speed due to his injury.

Donta got there when he needed to most of the time and brought the pain with him. I would say he has plenty of "football speed".

Could it be that Hightower is fat and slow if he's in a drill that requires him to change direction?

He did two other drills where he changed direction. He did well for his size. He is a big guy, therefore he isn't as fluid as smaller guys. Still not bad, at all. I think his 40 time could bump him up into the first round, possibly.

Literally the only stat throughout the entire game that LSU led by - other than # of field goals made.
