When did anyone even suggest that LSU LBs were superior to Bama LBs?

Haha I won't argue with you there. I think Alabama would win but that team was unreal on O and had a pesky D and solid Dline.

Attacking a guy that was actually coming to the aid of LSU in this thread.

We don't need anyone's support or aid. We took our beating, and now look forward to dishing it back tenfold. Problem is you weren't the better team all year long. You were the better team on the One night that mattered most.

If UA wins in Tiger Stadium next year, I honestly think some LSU fans may riot.

They didn't suggest that, but they did suggest that ours were much faster and Bama's were fat and slow. Turns out that wasn't quite the case

A win in Tiger Stadium = ten fold ?

Back on topic, Lot's of people bashed Hightower saying he was fat, slow, etc. I would say last year he was since he was coming off the injury. However, this 40 time shows that he is pretty quick after all. Good for Hightower. Running is the big knocks for Upshaw and Hightower.

Also how does a forty time show quickness, athleticism, and burst?

Explain how a forty time doesn't show quickness, and burst ?

Hell no. A win over bama in TS and in Miami = tenfold.

I have Bama vs LSU in Miami for the BCS title next year. It will be because there isn't another team that can compare to the two.

Aside from the score of November 5th, we were better on that night, too.

Save your "What'd you do inside of our 20?" stats.

We had better offensive stats, better defensive stats, more time of possession, more first downs, and got spanked on special teams.

Espn would certainly prefer to have USC in the mix. They will do what they can to bring about that result. A 1 loss USC is sure to get in over any 1 loss SEC team.

the only part of the 40 that shows quickness and burst is the first 10 yards. After the first 10 yards it's mostly speed

So you are saying that yall didn't get lucky making it into the National Championship after losing at home in the game of the century. Seems we were dead right about that.

LB Hightower could only put up a 4.62

Is that official or unofficial?

If official, then Hightower just snuck his way into the first round (maybe the 20's). I don't think he plays, with pads on, at 4.62 speed, but we at least see he has some speed now. I've always questioned his speed with pads.
