I think UGA is the right there in the #2 spot, they are the only program that consistently competes for the All Sports trophy. UF has just been a stronger across all sports and puts a nationally competitive team out in nearly every sport (minus women's basketball).

It's like y'all refuse to accept equestrian and swimming as a big time sports. Ridiculous.

That's funny, considering the 90's were the worst decade in the history of LSU football.

Yeah but in the 2 sports that people actually give a rat's arse about, UF has 5 to 2.

I don't count women's sports either so in the 3 sports that people actually give a rat's arse about, LSU has 8 to 5.

ETA: Oh, but to answer the OP's question it's probably Florida

I'm not sure about 1990 but currently UF is upper echelon in most of the sports listed plus track. I'd give the nod to them right now.

3 things:

LSU sucked at football in the 90's.

Has Ole Miss been relevant since 1990?

GTFO.

Clearly it's your vagina that bleeds. Football, baseball, and basketball are CLEARLY the 3 major sports in America. If you can't see that, you're either a moron or just looking to troll.

Which are you?

I'd agree with others on asking why did you choose what you did and why did you limit it to certain years? It seems like you're trying to get a certain answer.

If we have to go by your criteria, I'd say Florida/LSU and then UGA/Bama.

Baseball is obviously one of the three major sports in the country. I absolutely love college baseball too. But to call college baseball a major, big 3 sport is ridiculous when it is such a regional game nationally. To argue that it's anywhere near the same level as college football and basketball is asinine.

College baseball isn't a major sport.

I'm not arguing anything. I don't watch college baseball or basketball until it's the finals

What's ridiculous is watching some of you (LSU fans included) trying to argue what's a major fricking sport or not to try and push your agenda.

Whether you "like" it or not doesn't matter one bit. Football, baseball, and basketball are the 3 major programs in COLLEGE. Those guys then become hopefuls to play in the 3 major PRO sports.

Has Florida ever won the CWS?

Besides, don't you have some Bama dick to swallow than worry about this?

It was a fluke because LSU showed no signs of being a great program before and after their final four run.

This is probably one of the dumber things I've seen on here.

What happens in years before or years after has no affect on a final four appearance for the year being a "fluke". The 2006 F4 team was loaded with some talent, not a fluke at all.

Sorry Bama's shitty program has 0 F4's and 1 E8 in its entire history, but dont call a program with great teams here and there with 4 F4's and 6 E8's a "fluke run" when clearly it wasn't based on "being bad before and after" it happened as if that has any bearing on that 1 particular year.

If you want to call a team a fluke final four team, then say the same year George Mason's team. That team had zero NBA talent and is a program who never had a Sweet 16 appearance even before or after then.
