Well in that case, UF has won the Capital One Cup more than any other SEC school.
Compare the national titles for me. Thanks.

Shaq and PPM....who else. If you say Chris Jackson or Big Baby I will laugh even harder than I'm laughing now.

It's hilarious actually. We triple them in Titles.

Should LSU have been an #11 no, but winning anything in the NCAA tournament is no fluke.
It was a fluke because LSU showed no signs of being a great program before and after their final four run. They didn't have any other deep runs in the NCAA tournament. They weren't consistent contenders in the SEC. LSU also fired their coach less than two years after that final four appearance. How was it not a fluke?

Alabama has zero real post players and are somehow 7-3 in the league. This is the worst theSEC has ever been in hoops.

I can't tell if you're seriously trying to count your 20 or so women's track titles as having a better overall sports program than Florida.

Didnt make it in the pros but is considered one one of the greatest talents the SEC has ever seen, and considering his obstacles probably the nation has ever seen. Even when he got to the pros it was mental not physical that held him back, or along with Petit, O'Neal, and Maravich 4 hall of famers.

What about 'sports program' is vexing you?

Dude balled hard in the NBA. Packdaddy is a fricking idiot.
When the NBA did the 50 best ever players, LSU had 3. How many did Arky have?

lol
eta: off that, we have 8 titles. One Final four for men, 5 for Women.
Probably 4 WS for softball. Still trumps Florida.

How far before and after the program are we talking, I mean if to be a great program you have to have a Final Four every 3 year stretch then damn. Brady had been to the dance multiple times if I am not mistaken, and made a sweet sixteen. CJJ is laying the foundation for them to be consistent contenders.

There was talent on the roster before and after the Final Four. A certain coach simply found a way to squander it at the end. We should have done better than we did.

Serious question, what is Johnny Jones doing that has LSU fans so optimistic moving forward? To me, they seen to be playing like the same LSU teams of the past few seasons. Of course, I don't follow them as closely as you though. I heard on the radio on the way to the game tonight that their four league wins are by a total of nine points, and this league is bad. Johnny Jones seems like a good guy and I want him to do well, because we need more successful basketball programs. Just curious as to what you've seen, because plenty of LSU fans seem very ecited moving forward.

In the previous five years to their final four run, LSU never made it past the first round of the NCAA tournament. In the previous 12 years, they made the NCAA tournament only three times and didn't make any postseason tournament at all in seven of those 12 years. In the six years after LSU made their final four appearance, they've only had one NCAA tournament appearance. That's pretty dreadful any way you spin it.

Without giving a long drawn out explanantion. Has formed one of the best staffs argueably in the nation definately the conference. Has pipelines all over the country and world. Has a definite top-10 class coming in, and has done well considering the team he was left with.

Be wary of those recruiting class rankings in college basketball. Anthony Grant signed the number five class in the country per Rivals in 2011. We were thrilled too... I haven't jumped off his bandwagon yet, plenty have though.

LSU or Alabama basketball tradition
Like to see your reasoning if anybody can reasonably choose Bama. Objectively UF and Uk have better traditions but after that I dont know.
