But since 1990, we've had more NCAA tournament appearances, more wins, more sweet sixteen appearances, and more SEC tournament championships.

Final Fours

LSU 4

Explain the fluke

This has absolutely no relevance to my statement - which is the fact that Alabama has had a better basketball program since 1990 than LSU.

How is this even a question?

Florida has 3 football championships, 2 basketball championships (another runner-up finish), 2 baseball runner-up finishes, and 2 softball runner-up finishes.

Damn women's basketball dragging us down. Foley needs to get that shite right.

LSU has like 20 national titles in the time period.

after watching that game tonight, I can't understand how either Bama or LSU fans are taking a lot of pride in their teams.

What was your question to me about? The seeding question I mean.
And LSU's future is very bright in roundball FWIW.

Add in 5 women losses in the Final Four as well. It's crazy how we have folded at that stage.

05-06 Final Four Fluke?
Beat #13 WVU in Morgantown
Lost to #2 UCONN by 1 in Hartford
Lost to #21 Ohio State by 2 in Columbus
Went 15-3 in the SEC
Beat Duke in Sweet 16
Beat Texas in Elite 8
Had 4 NBA players on the team, and 3 other players that have played overseas and were pretty dang good college players.

Should LSU have been an #11 no, but winning anything in the NCAA tournament is no fluke.

I just hate when somebody would argue 1950's championships are relevant other than for historical signifigance.

Yeah but in the 2 sports that people actually give a rat's arse about, UF has 5 to 2.

I cannot speak for Bama because I dont know, but LSU has a great basketball tradition and some of the greatest basketball players ever period. We have a top 10 recruiting class coming in, and have managed to win some games with only one real post player.

Well in that case, UF has won the Capital One Cup more than any other SEC school.
