So you went from backing your argument with "taxes" which showed you have an interest. To completely backing out when I used your argument to wipe my arse with.

Oh and it's Modern Day Socrates not modern Socrates just a little enlightenment for your arse.

I'm an NC grad and I'm a bigger fan of SEC football than I am North Carolina. I have no affiliation with any any SEC schools. (Not counting my wife being an Ole Miss alum & BIL fixing to graduate from Miss. State) As much as they love those schools I've adapted to cheering them on as well.

If you are from Georgia

My problem is not with that type of sidewalk fan

The problem is if someone from Georgia becomes a fan of Bama and starts wearing Bama shirts and acting like Bama is something great
For me it might be a little redneck but I want to punch someone like that in the mouth

Your problem seems to be with bandwagon fans more so than sidewalk fans. Big difference.

I know some of the counties in Georgia close to Auburn have a higher percentage of AU fans than the rest of Georgia
In SE Tx there are a lot of LSU fans especially with the Acadians because of the fact that their family at some time lived in Louisiana
Never spent time in Meridian so you will have to tell me
I do know that there are quite a few Bama fans in Mississippi and closer you get to Alabama the more you will see

I think the worst part about this phenomenon is the utter lack of imagination that this kind of "fan" displays--almost always picking the latest, greatest football team.

Which is the perfect definition of bandwagon fan....not sidewalk fan.

What to you see is the difference
For me
One has home state pride which I find honorable
And the other is looking to fulfill their own ego

Tuition and state taxes

State taxes huh? But you've said numerous times you have to have a relationship to said school.

You've made it clear that taxes are fine for pro teams but not for college teams. Though most college teams are from a public, state funded university which gets its money from tax payers.

Are all your view points in the liberal "flippy floppy" category?

The only fans that aggravate me are the ones that are fans of the last championship team in every sport....or the ones that are fans of every dynasty.

College Football--Alabama, Notre Dam
NFL--Dallas Cowboys, Pittsburgh Steelers
NBA--L.A. Lakers, Boston Celtics
College basketball--Duke, Kentucky
Major League Baseball--Yankees, Dodgers

They have a cap for each team and switch the hat for the appropriate season.

Did you ever think that maybe it had to be shorten for other reasons
If you feel like you have to prove your own intelligence by using contrarian methods than the problem might be internal

What irritates me is that you have to only wear caps of teams you support. I buy hats based off of design and what goes good with my wardrobes, same for shoes. I don't buy black and gold shoes because I'm a Mizzou fan.

I don't own a single bulls or cowboys hat. Or any other hat of other teams in those league. But I'm a fan of both. On the other hand I have numerous cardinals hats and wear my dodgers hats, Boston hats, white Sox hats and nyy hats far more often. Though I'm not a fan of any of those teams.

My favorite fan is when I'm out and about wearing one of those hats and some moron comes up and asks if I'm a fan of if I'm from there. Same things happen when I wear my discounted Bradford and Jackson jerseys. I'm not even a rams fan and some douche chief's fan always yells out "Chief's" at me.

Like I mentioned earlier pro sports by their meaning are players attempting to fulfill their own ego so why should fans be any different
I love college sports but I understand ultimately yes the players are attempting to fulfill their own ego through an eventual paycheck or a degree
At the time they are playing for nothing more for a lot of them than the pride of their university

I don't like bandwagon fans either. Most of them will ditch Bama after Saban retires. But I don't think "sidewalkers" are even close to being worthy of all the attention they get on this site. It's not really a big deal.

The lifelong Bama fans in Mississippi crack me up. I can understand people on the coast liking LSU but people in central and north Mississippi that pull for Alabama are a joke.

Why? In some cases Tuscaloosa is closer than either Oxford or Starkville. Alabama has a number of radio stations in east Mississippi that have carried games for decades.

The problem is you're an inbred fricktard and only validate this hypothesis with every post you make.

There's really no problem. Either the name was taken and you're too stupid to think of something else or there wasn't a big enough allotment for characters needed so instead of doing something creative like ModernDaySocrates you decided the best route was to show how short you are.

Are you hostile because you are a Mizzou fan trying to fit in the SEC. A conference where you do not belong
Or
Are you hostile because your life is worthless and only meaning you seek is the instant gratification of attacking others

The ONE shitty thing about being an LSU fan. NOTHING quite goes with purple and gold except purple and gold.

Lol I'm attacking you? Now that I've proven you wrong numerous times, using your own flawed argument. That's what you're going to play. The "I'm the victim card"?

Go find your safe space, sissy

Sidewalk fan here. Born and raised in the Atlanta area. Became a Bama fan when I was about 6 or 7 years old. I have stuck with them through thick and thin for 45 years. I have been to many games and many stadiums including two National Championship games. I graduated college from a small school that did not have a football team, so no reason to switch. Never lived anywhere but Georgia except during college years. My pro allegiances are Falcons Braves and Hawks, so any highs achieved through Bama success are counteracted by the Atlanta sports results.

Good for you
Do you need to feel better about your existence
Your entire post history is a constant barrage of insults
Try sticking to taking about sports
I guess someone from up north in Missouri does not have much to be proud of

I guess you answered my last question
