Maybe. We have a history of it. (But every team does. I'm not sure why we catch the ridicule for it)
However, this team has a different feel to it for me. A different intensity. Only time will tell. I am going to enjoy it for as a long as it lasts, though!

We all know our history with Florida, and Auburn is really looking strong lately, too.

FSU results: 1-2 overall

L to bammer
L to NC State
W vs Wake forest by 7 points.

Does that look like #3 in the country to you?

Miss State results: 3-2 overall

W vs Charleston SO
W vs La Tech
W vs LSU (coached by O)
L to uga 31-1
L to Auburn 49-10

Does that look like a top 25 team to you?

Notre Dame results: 4-1

W vs temple
L to uga (1 point)
W vs Boston College
W vs Mich State
W vs Miami redhawks

OK you got me. Maybe they are 20-25 range.

I am not bragging on Auburn either. I am just saying that we are the only defense that has had to defend a team with a pulse so far. Not saying Auburn Defense is better, just that it is more tested to this point in the season.

Actually, that was in SEC play only. I didn't do it for P5 opponents. All 3 teams would likely have similar numbers though, considering they didn't give up much to their P5 OOC opponents this year. (7, 14, and 19 if memory serves)

And you wonder why Richt got fired. Here we have yet another Richtism being attributed to a team that resembles nothing he ever put on the field (even his best teams). I guess old (valid) expectations die hard.

No. but they did lose their QB. What do you think Auburn would look like if they lost Stidham?

By the time the season is over ND will be more like 15-20....maybe better.

I wouldn't say with a pulse, but yes. Auburn has played a better team than either Alabama or Georgia.

Well, if we're being honest, we don't know how good FSU's offense was considering how many of the guys who were taking snaps against Alabama aren't going to play for the rest of the season.

Before anyone screams at me, I've endured "but if Colt doesn't get injured" BS that the door swings both ways.

Looks like the three have a good chance of playing during the year.

Schotty got Richt fired.

If Ramsey was a good QB, Schotty may have looked better. Since he sucked, we had to grab UVA's backup QB, who wasn't good.

Better than even chance.

As it should be. Settled on the field.

(Keeping my fingers crossed for UGA/Alabama)

Ask a Tennessee fan though and they'll say that we should not have fired a 9-3 Richt.

Well, yeah, I like mark Richt but his team probably wouldn't have gone in to Knoxville and shut Tennessee out. Richt fielded some great teams but always seemed to struggle with keeping his guys focused on the task at hand.

We are entering into uncharted territory here. Auburn fans being polite to Georgia fans and Georgia fans being polite to Auburn fans.

Would be interesting to see Notre Lame's stats. I didn't watch all of the game, but they were going up and down the field. Definitely missed some opportunities.

This number is helped out a great deal by another stat that isn't discussed. Bama has zero turnovers. No short fields = really hard to score

That is also very true. Auburn's offense has cost the team 27 points this year.

I’m thinkin ND and FSU were on the same level pre QB injury and we will see that in the next few weeks when they wreck the good teams on their schedule
