Would be interesting to see Notre Lame's stats. I didn't watch all of the game, but they were going up and down the field. Definitely missed some opportunities.

They weren't "going up and down the field" as they averaged 3.4 yards per play and only converted 11 first downs that weren't aided by a penalty. Even more telling is what Notre Dame has done against opponents that aren't Georgia.

Notre Dame's stats per game this year

-Temple: 422 rush yards / 9.6 ypc / 606 total yards
-Boston College: 515 rush yards / 10.1 ypc / 611 total yards
-Michigan State: 182 rush yards / 4.6 ypc / 355 total yards
-Miami (OH): 333 rush yards / 8.5 ypc / 503 total yards

Georgia: 55 rush yards / 1.5 ypc / 265 total yards

They weren't going "up and down the field" by any definition.

How did this turn into an argument or pissing match? Georgia, Auburn and Bama all appear to have an elite defense. You can only play the teams on your schedule and so far all 3 teams have gotten the job done and then some.

We've played our 2nd and 3rd team guys in parts of the 3rd qtr and most of the 4th qtrs.

We also lead the SEC in several offensive categories such as PPG.

No, you're right - we got fricking torched. They bent us over and shoved 266 total yards right up our arse.

They are just going to shred the rest of the conference.

Except for UGA. They will somehow inexplicably lose 1 game somewhere.

Should be a good title game though.

Because............? Bama used to lose games when they had a coach named Shula. Therefore should Bama still be losing games? I know this is wishful thinking, but the MOs of programs don't follow with new coaches. If they did, UF would still be winning conference titles, like they did in the Spurrier era.

Its not good for the SEC that all 3 are top 10 caliber teams and we all have to play each other in the last few weeks of the season.

Would love to see AU's stats had our offense not directly given the opposing team points in every game. Also, sucked seeing Mizzou rack up about 200 yards on true freshman and white guys I've never seen before when down by 45 points. Miss St legit moved the ball on AU a few drives but I also felt that was the best defensive performance of the year. I have no problem saying we are a notch below Bama and UGA (mainly due to schematic differences) but AU's defense is still championship caliber without doubt.

I am not bragging on Auburn either. I am just saying that we are the only defense that has had to defend a team with a pulse so far. Not saying Auburn Defense is better, just that it is more tested to this point in the season

ND is averaging 301 rush yards per game, and that number includes Georgia holding them to 55
