We don't have a new QB, we have one that won 10 games last year.

Baylor was a very good offense for sure, but 645 rushing yards allowed is embarrassing regardless of who you play.

I am a huge UGA fan and with # 27 running the ball you can be promised we will score points, but so will they. Honestly, as a betting man, I wouldn't touch this game. Just too many unknowns for UGA.

I don't think he was, but merely pointing out that at that point, Baylor was not posing a threat to pass with their 3rd string QB playing. EVERYBODY knew Baylor was going to run and they still ran for something like 645 yards.
North Carolina has 6 players returning on defense this year. THREE of those are in the secondary. If nothing else, UGA should be able to run on North Carolina. Now, I can't say we will be able to stop their offense...

It seems like I remember reading that UNC gave up damn near 500 yards rushing to a single team last season.
If their rush defense hasn't improved tremendously, Georgia may not throw a single pass during this game.

The Falcons will be looking to draft Lambert because of his ability to get scared in the pocket and loves throwing check downs. Another Matty checkdown in the making

It should be a close game. But I think UGA wins . UGA has to much talent to lose to UNC.

I'm picking the Heels to win in a shoot out.
UNC's offense is crazy good. My only worry is that it usually takes a game or two to start running on all cylinders.
Defense will have way more depth than last year. Still, Chubb will get his yards. UNC's hope against the run is to bend but don't break and limit the Dawgs to field goals.
Ya'll are placing way too much emphasis on the Baylor game. Baylor's OL was unbelievable and UNC had two interior lineman out with injuries on an already thin DL. Not making excuses but it helps explain the yardage.

I think Smart wins his first game with a conservative offense. UGA has more athletes and should be able to beat UNC on the fundamentals of the game.(defense, clock control run oriented offense, patience downfield, waiting for the match up you want.) I'll take the under on the game.
