And when you consider all the crooks and flakes in coaching who were Bryant proteges it makes one wonder what kind of values he was espousing all those years.

Like Charlie McClendon? He was a Bryant protege.

The Bama fans will go back into hiding next year with an inexperienced QB an OL.

Yes, I am ignorantfor tellingte truth. I grew up in Alabama watching Alabama play and the attitude of fans I found to be so irritating I left the state to get my education and there I fell in love with LSU and the people of Louisiana. I am not saying there arent't good people in Alabama it's just those delusional Bama Fans that ar hard to swallow. You all started the post and everyone here is trying to tell you why your so hated, but still your in denial of the facts and won't accept how you all are perceived by other fans, not just in SEC but
every where. So we never shoved any coach in anyone's face like yall have & do. You like to tell us SABAN made us great and now that he is gone we're in a downward spiral and it a NEW BRANT like era, except it's renamed SABANATION.

I am one of the LSU fans that still like Nick & think he is a good coach, but you guys will never dominate in SEC your just like the rest of us...now unless you get put on NCAA suspension again for not following the rules. Preach to us
about your dominance and our decline under Miles.
And, lets see what happens..... Personally I think Nick is about fed up with yall, and is just sticking it out for the money until the next elite program reaches out to him.....He was
smart he has no buy out he can leave anytime he wants....Again not saying all of you Bammers are like this, I have family that is Tide fans and they don't act like this toward LSU. My oldest son is a graduate of Alabama and he doesn't. In fact LSU is his 2nd favorite team.....I went to the Alabama vs. Auburn game with him this year and I wore a red hat to support my sons team and
just listened to all the BULL around me talking bad about Auburn, any team whose scores went up trashing them. When Florida's Harvin was announced hurt that day while at the game there was applause and celebration, even when a Auburn
guy was hurt on the field. So again who has the hate & vitriol so blatantly shown against your
opponents in the SEC. This is what I have witnessed....

I always liked Bama in the past! I even worked as one of the team doctors during the Bear's last year as coach, - so I have plenty of fond memories of Bama. I didn't mind Saban coming back to coach in Tuscaloosa - he didn't leave us to coach Bama, he left LSU to coach in the pros and Bama was the best job avaliable when he returned in college ball.

What pissed me off was the way Saban and the Bama faithfull ran down our new coach and tried to take credit of OUR success after Saban left!! LSU won the NC because we were the best team, not because Saban willed us good recruits. Is Saban winning with Shula's players?

Bama's fanbase is arrogant. LSU outplayed Bama this year, but our young QB gave up several interceptions which changed the game. It was a good, close game - but gumps came to our board to brag about how they dominated LSU!!! I support all SEC teams in their bowl games, but, if someone has to lose, God let it be BAMA.

but my question is do you hate Alabama the school and it's alumni, Alabama fans, or Alabama's coach?

Honestly for most it is just a heated rivalry. Most fans feel the same about Auburn or Ole Miss. Saban just magnified what was already there.
