I've hated Alabama, the football team, since the days of Johnny Musso and tearaway jerseys. That guy would run all over us with half a jersey left. I'd prefer to see an SEC team win in a bowl game, sorry you guys lost, but that's the was it goes.

For the most part, I think yall have expressed valid points. The perception you have towards Bama’s fan base is fairly accurate. There is an “arrogance” that many Bama fans posses. There are some reasons for this that are not all that bad, but I guess it’s hard to see that from your perspective. I understand that. But trust me, LSU has some serious douche fans too. The reason that I asked the question is because I can’t’, as I-59 put it “just leave”. I live here and would never live anywhere else. I’m not trying to come on here and whine, or cry; I’m trying to understand why and where that level of animosity comes from. I don’t see it from other programs so much, and one of the reasons I come on this board is because I guess I am fascinated by it. I have always supported LSU and will continue to do so; I’d just prefer to not have fight for my life when I meet on the street and Im supporting the Tide.
And if I knew about the Waffle House NC I would have claimed 13 a long time ago. A smothered covered chopped and diced NC? Who could argue with that?

Crazy 4 LSU, you hit it right on the head....TideSaint nailed it....He showed the true arrogance of a PayTide fan with his response and thinking they are better and smarter than everyone is the reason most SEC fans hate the PayTide.

Have you read any of the post on Tide Nation? Talk about psychotic and hate! There are posters on there literally threathening Nick Saban's life. Even at the lowest point in our season, I don't recall any Tiger fans threating Les Miles' life. You Gumptards have taken the "meltdown" and have turned it into an art form. Did you also read some of the comments on YOUR messages boards, pre-Chick-fil-A Bowl, about LSU. Pot, meet kettle! FWIW, Forrest, I was actually rooting for Alabama, but I cannot help but to laugh AT your fans on YOUR message boards.

Very true. It was also an Alabama fan that killed two LSU fans at their house after the game this year.

Fran did nothing wrong to bama, he left for a job that he wanted more, and bama fans still HATE THE GUY!!!
Saban, had his bags packed and didn't have his team ready to play in the Capital 1 bowl in 04, he told tiger nation that he was going pro on x-mas day, he comes back to college after only 2 yrs, and its to our big time rival.
How the frick can any bama fan tell a LSU fan to get over the Saban thing, when STILL to this day they hate Fran, with a passion??

I for one didn't think twice about your fan base until my last 2 trips to Tuscaloosa included various jabs and remarks concerning Katrina. Keep in mind the first trip that I am referring to occured just a few months after the storm. It all culminated in 2007 when after the game while I was walking to my car, a woman who was with her children told me to "Go play in my FEMA trailer". Classy. Pretty much sums up everyone I met in that town.
Also nobody cares about what the Bear did. Just like I don't care what Rockne did at ND or Blaik did at Army. Get over it. It is something to be proud of but absolutely means nothing to anything going on today.
