Dude you just won the award for the best joke of the day. Now that one was funny as hell. It made me spit my drink. I would be willing to wager that I am not the only one here who thinks this.

Saban still has the game rigged

How so? Outworks the opposition, that's not rigged.

Bammer privilege. As Spurrier said "Alabama has always won a lot of football games."

Gotcha. No problem with that opinion. Saban said when he took the job, he's just the car salesman to a car that sells itself.

This LSU fan says yes to GOAT. I mourned when he left and became depressed for 12 years after witnessing Les Miles first game.

Best modern era coach easily. If he wins another one this year there is no question he is goat, and if he sticks around long enough to win a 7th he will put it beyond where anyone is likely ever to catch.

Objectively the correct answer is Red Blaik(Army coach in the 40s and 50s)

Coach Meyer handled Saban with a third-string QB

He was a fourth round pick though. Blake Sims was definitely not a fourth rounder.

He's probably the best ever at this point but Urban has a chance to do equally great things with his age. Hard to compare guys like the Bear, etc because the rules were different.

He's the king of 1 loss seasons no different than Bobby Bowden. Only difference is voters like Saban and put him in championship games

I thought that was a bit dumb at first but actually not a bad comparison. That being said, the SEC West is brutal to get through unbeaten. Bowden was playing Miami and Florida though so he had a tough road as well.

FSU's Indy schedules were waaay tougher than any conference schedule could be.

Bowden lucked his way into plenty of title games too, the difference is Saban got the job done every single time.

Hard to say. You can't have the conversation without him.

You have to look at Bud Wilkinson, Bryant and Switzer as well.
Also, what would Jimmy Johnson have done at the U had he stayed more than 5 years? He didn't so it's moot point. based on what we know I'd say Saban followed by Wilkinson, Bryant and Switzer.

And Wilkinson and Switzer weren't exactly clean.
