this is a bad landscape to do a poll though. generally, the only type of fan that finds a site like this to post their opinion are hardcore fans... most fans don't care enough to put this much energy/effort into their respective programs.

This site, owes alot of its success to Nick Saban.. not to be a homer.. but it brought 2 huge fan bases together. the rest followed.

I don't personally know a single Auburn fan that ever pulls for Bama or vice versa. Some people pretend like they do around fans of the other team, but when it comes down to it, they don't.

Only time I ever pull for Bammer:
1. When it would help Auburn if they won (SOB's almost ALWAYS lose when this is the case)
2. When they are playing some non-conference panty waist like Utah or Michigan State.

I would not pull for Auburn to win anything, even if it meant we were going to win the national championship. I only hope that they are not able to enjoy the win anymore than they let us last year. They were constantly saying something negative about our win....if Colt had played, or how they beat us for 58 minutes. I hope everyone hounds them about Cam for an entire year, and say how if Mallet had stayed in how Arkansas would have beat them, and how we beat them for 49 minutes.

I cannot pull for bama, it is against my very being.
I don't think any true Auburn or bama fan can really cheer for the other. I think maybe there are some platitudes exchanged between the fan bases, wishing each other well in upcoming games against ______(fill in the blank). But the truth is most true fans hope a raging case of herpes against the other team/fan base and their future filled with failure and pain.
Good luck bama against Mich State! (meaning herp prayers sent)

No self-respecting Alabama "fan" could ever root for Auburn. That's absurd. I cheer almost as hard against Auburn as I do for Alabama. Obviously I don't have the emotional attachment (like when Alabama loses and it takes a couple of days to regroup
) and if Auburn wins it in no way effects the rest of my day, but it's hillarious to see them lose IMO. I don't see how any Alabama fan can watch an Auburn game, see all that orange, all that obnoxiousness, all that 'family,' and have to listen to that fight song and actually cheer for them to win. I'd seriously question somebody doing that who calls themselves an Alabama fan. :frickauburnihopetheyfailineverythingtheydo:

No. It wouldn't bother me one bit if AU got the death penalty and we never have to play them again.
The thought of Alabama possibly having to pass the torch to Auburn, of all teams, only makes me dislike them more.

I used to pull for bama a little when Shula was floundering around on the sidelines. Not every game but one or 2 games a year. I never did before Shula and his gold chain and I sure as shite haven't since either. In my 39 years of life I woold estimate that I have actively rooted for Bama to win a grand total of 5 times.

I never pull for Auburn. I hope they never win a game never make a first down and they shut the school and burn the buildings. (Just kidding about closing the school and burning the buildings). But really I wouldnt pull for them if they played Bin Ladin.
