Auburn is the last game of the season.. If Auburn is 11-0.. It makes for a huge spring board to the championship.. vice versa for Auburn if Bama is 11-0. Again, I love Bama.. I like Auburn.. I hate every other team in the SEC. I love watching Tennessee lose.. I cant say the same for Auburn.. until the Alabama game.

The ONLY time it is acceptable to pull for Bama is when Auburn needs them to beat somebody (typically LSU) in order for Auburn to have a chance at the SECCG.
That's it.
I hate Texas and I still rooted for them in the NCG even though it would have been good for the SEC to win another title - money, prestige, etc.
It's like when Hitler invaded France. As much as you hate the French, you can't watch Hitler celebrate a victory.

Let me also add that I may be a little different than most Bama fans in that I want Auburn to be good. I don't want them to suck.
But let me also make it clear that I will never root for them to win a game and I would give a pinky toe for Mark Barron to pick that ball off to start the 2nd half.

Only time I would not want Auburn to lose would be against ND. Then I would want an ugly tie, and team busses to break down after the game...and their girlfriends break up with them. I would wish for their dogs to get run over too but I remembered a dog can't pick its owner.

Agree, not real fans.
Oh yeah.. If Im not a real Bama fan.. then tell me why I watched all of the Alabama womens basketball games last year. Stupid, maybe, but fan.. definetly.

I actually don't mind if Auburn's good but as far as actually rooting for them during a game, just not happening.
The only way I could conceivably root for Auburn is if there was a hypothetical scenario wherein Tennessee was undefeated and on their way to the NC game and they played Auburn in the SEC championship game. I could force myself to root for Auburn to spoil their season.
And I do actually wish Tennessee would get better. Going up to Knoxville and wiping them out 41-10 should be something worth re-watching a few times. But this year it was just a blip on the radar, you knew Tennessee sucked, its just not that big of a deal. But even with all that said, I can't force myself to root for them during specific games. For example, I was crushed by the UAB loss.

I grew up a Ga Tech fan and I cheer for UGA when they play Bama.

An Auburn loss makes me about 3/4ths as happy as an Alabama win....

I pull for AU every game except the Iron Bowl. I don't always act like that on here because a lot of the AU fans piss me off.
