Would have thought Nash would have a better craft scene than this.

They do.

List is shite.

like drinking a piece of sweet potato pie.

jalapeno flavored saison

fruity and sweet notes with hints of spicy yeast

dank smell and has hints of strawberry

It is full of coffee and chocolate delights.

It tastes like a smooth mix of dark chocolate and coffee.

Belgian candy sugar and Trappist yeast are used to give this beer a hint of fruit flavor in the finish.

robust beer with decadent chocolate and vanilla flavors

soft juicy IPA. Instead of the bitter flavors normally found in an IPA this beer is as sweet a Georgia Peach

Beer snobs are the worst, they just wish they had enough money to be wine snobs.

Oh really. A major city of 2 million people has better craft beer than a city of 200k with about a third of them being students & faculty. Breaking news!

I think you're a little more upset about this than you should be.

This is one area where the ACC beats us hands down. There are more breweries in Durham, Winston Salem, Chapel Hill, and Raleigh than the entire SEC.

TF is "craft" beer? Do I have to wear skinny jeans to drink it? Sounds like I have to wear skinny jeans and drive a KIA Soul.
If you want some good beer then make it yourself. It's really easy

Just because I don't drink beers with a fruity front and a coffee finish doesn't mean I drink swill.

I'll never understand why someone would want to drink a beer that tastes like grapefruit juice. Just drink fricking grapefruit juice. Oh, and as far as the whole IPA fad, it's a joke. Indian IPAs had extra hops added as a preservative to make the trip all the way to India. They didn't load it up with hops because it tasted good, they did it because they had to. That's why it SUCKS - quit trying to believe it doesn't.

I'm not a fan of the fruity beers either but do like a good coffee stout.

Who cares why they did it? IPA's and DIPA's are definitely bitter but I enjoy it. A good DIPA is pretty hard to beat.

Not upset. Just laughing at the captain obviousness of the comment and annoyed by the constant linking to tu. How would you feel if in about 50% of the articles about UGA that GT is mentioned. It is just lazy.

I guess Abita is not considered 'craft' anymore according to this list.

It's easy to beat it with any quality, BALANCED, lager or ale.

After I've just spent 3-4 hours mowing/whacking/weeding in 90+ degree weather, I'm not looking for an oatmeal stout or a English porter, I want a light American lager. I live in the American South, not northern Europe. It's a different climate.

When I'm eating a meal, I don't want some fruity/hoppy beer that's going to overpower the taste of my food.

I don't have drinking "sessions", I drink beer - sometimes I get drunk, sometimes I don't.

Sue me.
