You know how great winning the championships feels right? You probably know that feeling better than most schools, didn't y'all just win the 1919 and 1927 national championships in 2012?

This is just sad. Give it a rest. Texas is shite and no one cares what you think about A&M historically.

Yes. LSU broke Miami in 2005. Haven't been the same since.

LSU fans are typically small. Getting used to it. They're amusing.

Muschamp broke Texas, he pushed Brown to let him have more input in regards to game planning once McCoy left - when that resulted in the worst season of the Brown Era he bailed before his incompetence became too obvious.
Okay, we'll accept your premise that a DC who left Austin in December of 2010 is responsible for the current Longhorns team losing in embarrassing fashion to TCU this past weekend.

Now will you acknowledge the the stellar effort that shut down the most potent scoring offense in the SEC on the same day was at least in part to the coaching and recruiting of the former HC who left just 10 months ago?

Yeah, I thought not.

All Texas all the time. UT broke Aggy and that's why they had to run away.

I like to think this too.

Mack Brown also hurt Texas by no retiring and passing the reigns to Saban.

Texas' hubris broke Texas. They thought (and still think) that they can throw enough 5-stars on the field and throw enough money at a coach and have high level success.

Even now they have too much pride to admit that it will take years of rebuilding to get them where they want to be. They are already eager to fire Strong. Reading their message boards and the fans honestly believe that a good coach should have had them in playoff contention this year or next.

They are staring 2-10 in the face, the only teams they will be favored against the rest of the way are Kansas and possibly ISU.

I cant remember a program of that caliber going 2-10 in my time as a fan. Even Auburn won 3 in 2012.

This is totally wrong. Most Texas fans know the the dire nature of the program and realize that Strong might not be the man to be the face of the biggest program in college football. Rebuilding is necessary and will take time but they have the most potential of any program in the country to contend on a regular basis.

A larger point is that you should never take things for granted. Imagine a UT fan, on the eve of that BCSCG, being told that, not only would they lose the game, the next six years would be crappy. He would have laughed in your face.

You sir are correct. All of the "we are Texas" entiltement left them charmin soft and rotting on the inside. That's why they hired a known hatchet man to clean out the athletic department and Charlie Strong had to run off several players.

The funny thing is they seem unable to stomach the medicine.

If that is the truth then tell me why the last two years (when both teams have been so-so) Texas A&M has had top 10 rated games nationally both years but Texas has not?

Every year since Texas A&M in the SEC happened we had some match up of ours in that top ten of ratings, while even OU/Texas doesn't make that cut anymore. Oh and last thanksgiving our game got WAY better ratings than TCU/Texas, even though that was the game with a playoff contender in it.

Reality sucks for you I know so if you want to respond with a snippy remark I get it,

Name the one primetime game for Oklahoma this year (that wasn't PPV only):

Answer - It involved AN SEC SCHOOL.

When your athletic department starts whining to your conference office about TV scheduling...you're not THE shite...you're just shite.
