So, in essence, what your incredibly ignorant arse is saying, is trying to convince the rest of us of ... is that numbers should be thrown-out, they don't matter, and everyone on the team should be allowed to wear the same number, correct?

As compared to you acting like this call somehow cheated South Carolina out of a victory when such an outcome would have still been unlikely even if the referees had noticed the duplicate numbers. You are also completely ignoring the bogus pass interference that went South Carolina's way earlier in the game

The number on a jersey is meh.

There is no "meh" rule. It should have been called; just like the +2s on the play clock when OSU kicked a FG against PSU.

It mattered.....

Oh so you are omniscient? You know for a fact that another shot down the field would have ended the exact same way.

Well, that makes me feel much better about our loss. Thanks for removing that "what if". I feel so much better now.

And Georgia is proof that a bogus call from the referees can go in your favor and you can still lose. The referees gave Aaron Murray credit for a touchdown he really didn't score in the Auburn game last year and Georgia still lost

There are plenty of video out for that game. can you show me video proof he did not score? No. I didn't think so. But, of course, aubrunphan knows.

I don't think anyone is arguing that USC definitely 100% would not have benefited from an extra shot. We are saying the duplicate number shite had zero impact on the shot you got. It was just a home run chunk into the end zone to see who comes down with it. Your QB isn't gonna say "shite, they have two #1s, WHAT DO I DO???????"

Can you actually read? I said it was unlikely that anything would have changed. Maybe you should look up the definition of that word

You're amazing, man. I make one small comment that Hail Mary's do indeed work from time to time and you manage to turn it into a tirade against Georgia!

Interesting thing is nobody noticed this on either team or in the TV booth until after the game.

I think this is one reason that I think AU ought to quit this shite with duplicate numbers. Its stupid anyway. Olde school... 1-99 every player has his own number.

Georgia has a couple that do this, too. And I agree. Stop it. One number for one player.

I understand why they have the rule, but I don't think it would have applied in this particular game/situation.

Even the SEC Network guys missed it. When they brought it up, he said he received a tweet right after the game about it..

I just couldn't figure out if CNB or Carolina girl sent the tweet.

I'm kidding!

I understand that, but aupurnphan takes it to a whole 'nother level. He is totally obsessed, and I HATE to even use that word....but there is no other way to describe him or jrljr. Those two are just on another planet. the rest of you guys really don't bother me. And they don't bother me. I am just completely at a loss at the lengths they take it.

I get that. Just sucks is all. In no way am I trying to take away from Auburn's win. They beat us. I'll just be glad when our D finally finds their way back to the football field. Probably not gonna happen till next year, though. Then we have the question about who Thompson's replacement is gonna be after he's done this year.

In the ultimate form of irony, watch our D come out swinging next year and we'll have ballers returning in our RB's and recievers, but will not have a qb who can hand off or pass.

And our center...well let's just hope he doesn't go full retard again this year and snap the ball on the ground like he was habitually doing on SCar's last offensive series last night.

Two sentences pointing out facts from a call Georgia benefitted from last year is a tirade. Who knew? Of course, it did get you worked up enough to make two different responses to the same post

It is when you bring it up time after time. Why even bring it up in this thread?

Not worked up. I am simply amazed at how you can turn a thread about an Auburn/South carolina game into a thread about a play last year with Georgia. that play really got you fired up, huh? Did you ever come up with that video evidence?

This.

When it happened, I didn't think he got in, but I knew the instant the replay was shown that there wasn't conclusive evidence to overturn it. I don't get what is so difficult to understand about that.
