he will also have a bunch of help. he will have an offensive line that is full of NFL players on it and is probably one of the five best offensive lines in the country, has a pretty damn good corps of receivers to work with, may not be the most deep but you will be hard to find better top 3 options, and then he will have a stable of good and established running backs to go along with an elite offensive line that will help us pound the ball. like I said, it will obviously have its up or downs and wont be as good as it was last year, but its still going to be one of the better offensive units in the country

some of aggy appears to be fairly upset.

reasonable questions about unproven players be damned?

Coker and Allen duking it out for the Heisman? Mosley won't be missed for the tide whatsoever.

I'm just saying you sound exactly like LSU fans in 08. You think that team wasn't loaded with talent around Jarret Lee? They were fresh off a NC. It's unrealistic.

To be fair it is delusional to think your offense won't take a step back. Kids a true freshman in the SEC. Go check LSU in 08.

Our best two offensive weapons in the first year in the SEC were two freshman. It's not delusional to think our offense will be top 15 next year....as will be par for the course for the forseeable future.

Would love to talk legit football with fellow SEC fans.

You can.

Use prodigious Daedalean words aggregated together in elongated paragraphs and you can have some exquisite football repartees with Vandy fans on here.

I know I have done it.

The likelihood of this happening again is very slim.

Maybe not, these Texas kids have been running this offense since junior high school.

"College ingame experience" matter more for our D.

Would you say Les Miles is an offense minded or defense minded coach? Didnt LSU lose something like 9 defensive starters to the NFL and come back with a top 20 defense? As long as there is elite talent behind elite talent its not that big of a deal when players leave.

this is just where we are going to disagree. I have faith in kevin sumlin making either Kennys or kyles transition into the starting role a little smoother than expected just because I have a full blown belief in him being able to coach a QB and run his offense. especially when he, sumlin, has probably the best overall weapons in his entire career

the fact that this board has gone full blown retard when it comes to a&ms upcoming football season. just like I own the ridiculousness of people stereotyping a&m as full of dorks, gay, fake army men who frick sheep

They're full retard when it comes to everyone, don't take it personally.

Hell, you throw it out there at LSU as bad as you're crying about it being thrown at you.

I mean, if you're gonna frick sheep, OWN IT, don't cry about it.

But you never know who is elite until they prove it on the field. Just look at Alabama, how with all of those recruiting classes did we end up with average at best offensive line, defensive backfield this year?

Yeah that 11 win season must have been a real drag

no sec title, no national title, no iron bowl win...

but more to your point, we got 11 wins but we were not a championship caliber team this year because we didn't have the players we recruited come in and step up to meet the expectations.

I spent many years in College Station--as an undergraduate student, and again when I did my doctoral work. Furthermore, I was on faculty for three years.

In those 15+ years (not to count being a season ticket holder since '95), I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that I have never seen a sheep in College Station.

(Unless you count the amazing Racks of Lamb served by Christopher's and Messina Hof Winery)

The hype surrounding Lee then and Allen now is just SLIGHTLY different.

Do you know what #tDecline refers to?

Hint: It has nothing to do with A&M.
