Six SEC West teams in the top 20 (why did Bielema leave Wisconsin again?). Miss State higher than Ole Miss. Vanderbilt falls post-Franklin.

1. Auburn #3
2. Alabama #4
3. Texas A&M #10
4. LSU #14
5. Mississippi St #17
6. Ole Miss #20
7. Arkansas #45

1. South Carolina #9
2. Georgia #12
3. Florida #22
4. Missouri #30
5. Tennessee #51
6. Kentucky #54
7. Vanderbilt #69

The biggest head scratcher in this list is, without question, A&M at #10. Not sure how ESPN sees them improving from last year.

That problem always works itself out after the first game. I loved be ranked right where we are. Gives the guys some motivation

You nailed it.

I expect to still be top 20 in the AP poll though.

All interchangeable IMO. I'd put A&M at 6th probably.

East standings look about right.

I would personally rank the west

1. Alabama
2. Auburn
3. LSU
4a. Miss State
4b. Ole Miss
6. A&M
7. Arkansas

Maybe others who aren't influenced by the drivel of the SECr see things differently and logically?

That's not meant to sound flippant, I just think it's the truth.

Stereotypes & talking points get tossed around here AD nauseum ... and suddenly the lies are the truths.

I was thinking MSU at 24 was a pretty big problem

Crimson G is a perfect example: He's made his thoughts on A&M very well known--multiple times.
Folks who know nothing about our team could form their opinions, as a result of his prolific comments.
Same could be said for every other team in the conference.

I still think you guys win 7. We finished sixth in the West last year with 7 wins so i don't think it's too big of a stretch to say y'all will lose to Ole Miss, LSU, and State. And that's not an insult because y'all just lost 3 first round draft picks so there will be some rebuilding.
