because when you lose three offensive players at three key positions for your offense a dropoff is to be expected. for any team.

Different coach. Different system. I think Sumlin is a great coach but unless Kyle Allen is absolutely amazing, A&M won't see close to the same production. That's not to say you won't be a top 3-4 offense in the league.

You have no idea how our QB is going to perform, and people lose key players all the time. If you actually did any research about the upcoming offense for A&M, you'd see this.
4 returning starters on the OL who will all be playing in the NFL. More talent at the WR position than has ever been at A&M. 3 proven running backs returning. We don't even need elite QB play to be really good (top 30). Sumlin has had a top 15 offense EVERY year he has been a head coach and i see no reason that changes this year.

literally the only question mark on the offensive side of the ball is going to be the starting QB. that will obviously have its up or downs, but there is no reason we will not be at the bare minimum at top 3 offensive in this conference and top 15 in the country

That looks like a qualitative jump to me since joining the league. I expect it to continue going forward.
I predict that 5 years after joining the SEC A&M will have similar quality of depth as the top SEC programs. It is at that point that A&M will start re-loading instead of rebuilding.
That and the lack of defense in a relatively defense-oriented league is what is making people doubt A&M for 2014. 2016-17, look out - especially if the Aggies drastically improve their defense.
