Sumlin couldn't go 10-3 in cusa this year with that squad.

I still think you guys win 7.

7 is the minimum IMO, all it means is winning our four scrub OOC games and beating three SEC teams we are 6-0 against since joining the conference.

We'll get to 7 if we just win the games we'll be favored in. The difficult comes from the fact that 4 of our other 5 games will probably be against legit top-10 caliber teams and the other won the East last year.

Yep. You're right.
Time for me to graciously bow out of yet another "Time to upgrade the post quality of the SECR" thread.

A&M will lead the SEC in offense every year that Sumlin is the coach, it's just the nature of the scheme. We wont be the BEST offense every year, but we will always lead the league in average yardage if for no other reason than the scheme results in several 650-700 yard outings against scrubs every year.

They must've confused A&M with Mizzou. Easy mistake.

Exactly. I think y'all have more than enough talent to win 7-8 (including a bowl win).

It could happen. Seriously. Running a HUNH that is infused with Texas 7on7 talent against most SEC defenses is almost like cheating.

I expect to be top three in the SEC overall (not just West) in offense at the end of the season.

Even so, your defense is still suspect and more experienced teams will beat you.

I can see that.

Laugh all you want but I'm right.

Give it a rest for once. Nobody thinks aTm is losing 7 games or some crazy shite.

Your sarcastic shtick is played out and annoying at this point. You bring nothing to the discussion in any thread.

Let's be honest, it's what this board deserves. The categorical rejection of Sumlin as a quality coach and insistence that A&M will be nothing more than a scrub without Manziel should be met with nothing but sarcasm and dismissal. We've tried to have intelligent discussion in the past about it, the collective of this board refused and so this is what you get.

I understand you may not think that, which is smart, but there is a damn good portion of people on here who just troll and flame and insist on a&m being terrible. like roger said, ive tried that way and it has led to this

I don't think anyone with common sense thinks you guys are going to be scrubs. There will be a decent drop off in offensive performance though.

Dude, the board does this every year to a different school. Bama has it going on right now with Coker. LSU with Jennings/Harris.

Get used to it.

Your vocal aggy brethren have made their own bed by throwing temper tantrums any time a&m is not talked about at the top tier of the SEC.

you get what you deserve.

And take heed to what poster ^^^ said. People have attempted to explain it before.
