No you just have a problem in selecting shady characters that get booted later on. If you oversigned you wouldn't have a 49 man roster this coming year. You could have cut out the thugs and still be competitive year in and year out.

I don't care what they do, the best programs will still recruit the best regardless. As far as greyshirting goes, you have to tell the kid before he signs his LOI. If he's ok with it then its fine with me.
I don't know the status of all our guys but I assume the reason Darryl Collins went to Kentucky was because we told him he needed to greyshirt. Although I assume we didn't tell him that when we originally offered him.
The sad thing is that the Patron Saint of offering scholarships to kids just so their friends will sign too will probably be out of work by the time any of this is enacted.

Do you think Twitter and Facebook would be effective ways to start letting recruits know about past cuts and indiscretions from oversigning programs?
