We've claimed 1942 for a while now. That scoreboard is from the mid 80's and highlights the 1980 win for that reason. We could claim up to 5 titles but have actual hardware for 42 and 80.

Got a source for 42 national title hardware?

I don't care. FSU still has a ton of fans. I've already said I don't care if they're fairweather fans. Just like I don't care UF had a ton of those same fans on their side during that streak. Florida people switch allegiance like no others.

We sold out every home game during our legendary 0-10-1 season.

I have never met anyone that switches allegiances between schools, not sure where that stereotype comes from.

So you can provide a pic of it?
You do realize the AP went to Ohio State that season, right?

No but I can direct you to the address where it is housed and free to view. I'm not making the initiative because you're being stubborn.

"In 1942, Georgia Bulldogs were the consensus national champions, defeating UCLA in the Rose Bowl on January 1st, 1943. Ohio State was crowned #1 in the final AP Poll at the end of November, but did not make a bowl appearance. At the time, the AP poll did not put out a post-bowl poll."

Are we still discussing Georgia as dominant in their home state?

Is this a football list? I am confused. How is Georgia above Auburn or UF?

How convenient.
I'm looking at pics of the Larry Munson trophy room right now.

We have more wins, more postseason wins, better overall win percentage, and more conference titles than both Auburn and UF. We also own the series record over UF and are tied with Auburn.

OK I could see the angle.

Edit: Meh whatever, I'll take your word for it. SEC history is not a strength of mine.

This is definitely where is comes from. I don't get past the panhandle often (ashamedly), and every time I venture over there the team that's represented most changes to whoever is winning that season.

It really is, you can walk right in any time and see the trophies. It's pretty neat.

Which there are less than 10 of, seeing as it's undergone a fairly recent renovation.

So hardware pics?

Orson Charles dropped one of Florida's crystal footballs a while back. Does this mean that, for a time, UF was deducted one national title claim due to the lack of hardware?

In November. And tOSU didn't play in a postseason game. Northern bias, etc.
