You're saying Jameel McKay is Iowa State's best player?

Nah, they should have won their only ranked road game for that distinction. Instead, they got blown out.

And you lost to Old fricking Dominion. GTFO.

And no to rpiforecast, pointless to try and predict anything much less how a team will do in conference play.

I would guess SC would be at or right around .500 in SEC play best case a game or two above. And I haven't looked at their schedule to see who they play and where.

Why is any of this relevant? I'm not predicting anything; I'm just saying that if they went 20-10, their RPI would be good enough to probably put them on the right side of the bubble.

You don't even know who he is and now you're going to act like you know his talent level?

Word to the wise, my buddy is a diehard ISU hoops fan, alum, and 10+ year season ticket holder.

I know ISU more than their most of their own fans.

McKay may very easily be their best player by seasons end. He is their most hyped player within the fan base, partially because of talent and because of his transfer causing him to be suspended the first 8 games of the season.

So yes, a team that is already considered a Final 4 contender, has now added the #1 JUCO PF stud starter down low going forward.

Iowa State will beat the frick out of SoCar, bookmarked for bump, be around after the game.

Way worse than Iowa State on the road, is the point.

The only other loss for each team is mutual, with Arkansas getting the nod there because it was a road game vs neutral court.

But where is a noteworthy ooc win for Arkansas?

Nothing wrong with LSU at #2 right now.

ODU has a top 15 RPI by the way.

I know who he is. He's a 4* JUCO PF who is skinny, athletic, and was committed to Marquette for awhile.

I don't give a shite about fan hype. A lot of Arkansas fans were hyping up Alandise Harris as your best player before last season. How'd that work out? Chris Walker had a shite ton of hype while he had to sit out, and he's losing minutes to Jacob Kurtz.

Sure, he's going to get minutes, but to say that he's their best player one game into his D1 career is crazy when Niang, Morris, and Dejean-Jones have been as good as they've been.

Do you? Because you had no idea Iowa State was without him all season until last week. Told me I was full of shite.

So excuse me while I ignore anything else you say about him.

Bro, don't flat out lie. No one in our fan base said that considering we had McDonalds AA Bobby Portis who was potentially a 1 and done player. Get out of here with that shite.

quote:

Sure, he's going to get minutes

He's going to be their starter down low, they're easing him back into play, he's expected to get his most minutes in an ISU jersey vs SoCar, and then the game after that he will be starting from then on out, he hasn't played basketball for 18 months because of the NCAA's ridiculously slow arse.

quote:

McKay, a Marquette transfer via Indian Hills, will get more duty on New Year's Eve against Mississippi Valley State, and then even more against South Carolina on Jan. 3 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.

By Jan. 6 against Oklahoma State, he could be ready to start, but that's three weeks from now. There's still considerable rust that needs knocking off.

#22 SMU on the road?

#20 RPI Dayton?

ehh...they're not WVU, but sure that'll work. In time we'll see who wins head to head. But until then, you'll have to understand that people see LSU as the bigger threat this year (to Kentucky).

Uhh Arkansas was picked 3rd behind KY and FL by the coaches and media. Nice try.

We've also been ranked in the Top 20 already this year.

You are full of shite. You said that Iowa State just got its best player eligible, which is... shite.

And you said, "Who were they missing against Bama you are full of shite". Whether or not he is their best player is an opinion, him being out vs Bama is a fact.

Changing words around now? I had no idea you were like this. Just admit when you are wrong man, just a message board, good grief.

Please quote where I said anything about him being Arkansas' best player, like you said.

I prefer ESPN's RPI.

Dayton beating Ole Miss tonight will help come tomorrow too.

Thank the 1990s. Preseason has no bearing. Look at Florida.
These teams look dead even on paper, and it appears that paper is all we'll have to compare for quite some time. They don't meet until 7 March

It wasn't preseason, it was about 2 weeks ago during the season, we were #17 after beating SMU on the road.

Yeah, looooong ways away. Doesn't bode well for you in Bud Walton though, and you don't get us in LSU.

I was referring to the SEC picks, not the ranking.

Yeah historically that's an automatic loss for LSU whether Arkansas has a pulse or not!

I'm just hoping we're 12-5 going into that game.
