Drainage is certainly an issue and something that I don't think can be fixed with where it's located.

This is obviously atmosphere and not park quality. Ole Miss and State are much nicer

Arky and state might have best ball parks in the country . LSU is maybe 6 or 7 . Still holds the attendance record every year

Make no mistake, The Box leaves a lot to be desired in 2024, but it’s still funny to me when people come on here and act like Ole Miss has a better park.

but...but...we do.

In the next two years, A&M will put seats down the lines in place of the grass berms.

Then put a porch of suites left field and permanent grandstands in right. At that time, Blue Bell Park will be top 3.

Like others have said, the environment is top 5, but the planning was lousy.

Schlossnagle will demand the money.

Also,

Texas should not be allowed in the SEC if those pussies don’t play on real grass.

Get out of here with your ****y field turf shite.

Why would anyone with a choice play on field turf?

List is solid except how baseless they whiffed on Alex Box. Needs to be around 7th.

KPP is an immaculate facility. I don't believe for a second we're 12th in the conference. That's a horseshite ranking.

Never been to Dudy Noble, but is it a nicer park than the Box?

Yes, if we are being honest LSU should be 4th

The facility (Alex Box), when compared to some other SEC schools like Mississippi State, can be described as subpar. It's clear that The Box requires upgrades, particularly addressing the need to remove the bullpen from the field. Despite these issues, the current state isn't too bad. While there's potential for LSU to build a superior facility, I'm not too keen on where the budget is going right now in terms of infrastructure and new venues.

That is a legit issue with State. If you are older like me, sitting on a berm is just not a good option. I am fortunate to have a couple of folks we know that have outfield slots. But you don’t impose on them too often because they are always full. It is a conundrum but a good problem to have. If they could have had one or two sections of chair backs set aside for fans like me that might go to a couple of games a year. And set a lottery system that would award them ahead of time. To me that might have been helpful. But obviously it is too late now.
If they could add a third deck, then it could be done but doubtful that will happen any time soon.

This should have been mandated years ago.

I think it's crazy there aren't enough seats for your fans. Build more GA seats lol. When I visited in '18 I seem to remember ushers checking to see if your tickets were for the section walked into. At Baum you can buy a left field hog pen ticket and do pretty much anything you want. I just sit wherever there are some open seats at most games unless it's a conference series.

It is a really weird atmosphere if you aren’t part of the “in” crowd. Any State fan that debates that, congratulations, you’re probably in that club!

The same fanbase that will feed the visiting team’s outfielders during a game will turn around and tell another State fan to F off if they stand within six feet of their outfield rig without being invited.

Last year State was #1 in average attendance at the end of the regular season, but LSU's regional and Super Regional crowds put them over the top.

If State had only hosted a regular regional we might have kept #1, but we were not even close to hosting, we didn't even make the SEC tournament.

Still, last year was the first time any school had averaged over 11,000 per game, and both State and LSU did it.
