Didn't Lsu redo Alex Box for like 20 M ~15 years back?

It was just built 15 years ago. That’s a lot of people’s problem with it. It was outdated when they broke ground.

State has fans that complain about the lack of general admission seating. All of the chairbacks are sold though season tickets. GA can sit on one of the three berms. (record crowd is 16,423--I was there!)

Some have suggested that State put some bleachers in so the GA people have a place to sit. They do make some nice bleachers with color, I believe South Carolina has them. When full, you can't tell people are sitting on bleachers anyway.

There are at least 2,000 on the waiting list for chairback season tickets. State could build a few new upper and lower deck chairback sections and sell them out as season tickets immediately.

That still wouldn't help the GA fans. Plus, I doubt a baseball expansion is due soon since the stadium is new and we have other sports needing facilities and donor $ needing to go to NIL.

We could put some colored bleachers in a couple places in right field or one or two of the berms down the lines and they would probably stay full with GA fans for every SEC game.

1. Dudy
T2. Baum/Swayze
4. Box
Who cares about the rest....

Swayze is also getting some work done after this season, expanding seating along 3B side:

The Box doesn't rank top 5 in the SEC. This is probably about atmosphere

I don’t know why I’m getting voted down…KPP is a brand new $60 million facility that has great site lines and it’s unbelievable in the setup. It is a top 5 park in the SEC.

KPP is better than Hawkins, Lindsay Nelson before the reno, and UGA. Not top 5 though.

Yes, and I’m not hating on the Box. Dudy Noble is nicer than a lot of minor league parks and close to on par with some MLB parks. It’s absolutely ridiculous

The Box leaves a lot to be desired in 2024, but it’s still funny to me when people come on here and act like Ole Miss has a better park.

Swayze is better you fricktard.
Nicer, newer, larger stadium built in Faulkner’s Woods.

The Dude is great.

But this is weapons grade retarded unless you're referencing Tampa and Oakland.

Lots of great parks in the SEC. Yours can be in the lower end and still be fantastic

Alex Box is the Neyland stadium of baseball

Big and holds a huge crowd with a great atmosphere but the facility itself is outdated

Go and you'll understand. TV does it some justice to it's size and design, but nothing to the noise level, amenities and atmosphere. You can see every play while in line for concessions, which was a big problem with the old Dude.

Swayze and Baum have easily topped the Box.

Not a popular opinion, but I really don't like Swayze the actual stadium, I love the outfield area. Because of that I rank it above the box.

Been to the new Dude it is nice and deserves the number 1 spot.

Box really doesn't have anything that sets it apart other than the passionate fan base.

I don’t pretend to know the solution but I can tell you the general admission thing is definitely a problem for those who aren’t generational fans. I wasn’t alive when the waiting lists for chairbacks started building up. I don’t have friends or family that have had seats or LFL rigs for years. And a number of people are in the same boat.

Like I said, haves and have nots.

I think it's crazy there aren't enough seats for your fans. Build more GA seats lol. When I visited in '18 I seem to remember ushers checking to see if your tickets were for the section walked into. At Baum you can buy a left field hog pen ticket and do pretty much anything you want. I just sit wherever there are some open seats at most games unless it's a conference series.
