Miami, as a relevant program, is extinct.

No monetary value under current system, no possibility.

The current system was in place in 1955? I did not know that.

No way we should ever consider Miami. They bring zero.

You talkin Cougar High? Didn't think they allowed junior colleges to play D1 Football.

They are a good match for the BDF.

If Houston wanted a shot at a major conference, they should have ponied up the dough to keep Sumlin. I feel like Houston has a lot of potential, but they're not serious enough about athletics.

Sorry didn't read link. I would have loved it. Auburn would have beaten an overrated Miami in 1983 and won the title when Miami upset Nebraska.

quite the projection. if you think the canes have anywhere near the sidewalk fanbase as the SEC, then "ur retard"

Buying jerseys=/=actual fan of the team who actively watches/follows

Houston is just boned. They have no shot of joining the BIG or the PAC because of their academics and now that the SEC has A&M they are of no value to us and the Big 12 has plenty of Texas teams as it is. The best shot that UH has of advancing is if the AAC can scoop up the remains of the Big12 when it eventually falls apart and become the best of the rest conference.

Miami is one of those schools that is just a good coach away from being a national power again. That's why you add them.

I agree with this. They're recruiting well in their fertile grounds and have a brand established. They're just missing that crucial piece of having a competent coach.

Miami would be a fantastic addition. Houston, not so much.

and an admins that actually cares about football. What Miami needs to return to the top of the ACC and top tier of CFB:
1. good coach
2. admins that actually gives a shite.
3. Partner up with Beckham and MLS to build a 40-45K stadium by Marlins Park (old OB site). That will be better than the dolphins stadium because it is somewhat closer, will be state of the art, and they won't need tarps.
