I think you may be under the influence of some of that northern Alabama meth. You from Gadsden?

This is my favorite game every season. I respect LSU. They are physical. They dominate you on defense. They run you over on offense. They just don't do it as good as Alabama.

I'll check in tomorrow, maybe a couple of hours before the game, and say hello to my new Coonie friends.

Notice how I use a capital C for Coonie and not a little a like I do for auNeck? That is because I do have a bit of respect for the Coonies so, enjoy that and relish it.

Get ready for some self-hating shame tomorrow night and bring your kids to the game so you can send them out to pop Bammers tires, bust their rear-view mirrors, and key their hoods during 3rd quarter when you are down by 20.

Call it following tradition.

LSU was terrible in the 90s, Saban revived LSU. He's the best in the game, so there will always be fans that feel weird about the guy going to a rival team. Everyone should just understand that and move on.

The other hosts questioned him and he said that Ohio St. - Michigan is not competitive and Alabama - Auburn is not consistent. For year-in-year-out significance, LSU-Alabama is tops.

I agree with him over the course of the last 10 years, LSU and Bama have been much more consistent than Auburn has with a few complete shite the bed seasons.

LSU and Alabama run similar base offenses and similarly good defenses which usually equate to a good game.

You realize that you are indicating that the Tide turns on LSU? Go to sleep, Genuine, you aren't making sense.

I'm eating something called Ritz Toasted Chips and they taste like crap. That is what someone who compares the Alabama/LSU annual game to great rivalries like Alabama/Tenn or Alabama/auNeck is, crap.

LSU is new money bullshite. How in the hell can a lower tier opponent of Alabama, SEC wise, be a major rivalry of the Tide?

Sure, since Saban revived LSU and dragged them out of irrelevance, it's been a pretty good competition between the two teams.

But, no way is LSU seen as a really important team by the majority of Alabama fans.

Game. Set. Match.

It isnt a rivalry, but it is one of the biggest and most competitive games in college football almost every year.

Absolutely this. Certainly, no series has come remotely close to this one in terms on NFL talent over the last few seasons.

People are still overstating the impact this game has had nationally in recent years.

Alabama lost 6 games in Saban's first year in 2007

LSU lost 5 games in 2008

LSU lost 4 games in 2009

Alabama lost 3 games and finished in 4th place in the west back in 2010

If LSU loses this game, they could easily finish the season with 4 or 5 losses

Why do some fans from Bama and Auburn (and Tennessee) treat the word "rivalry" like the Catholic Church treats the word "marriage." It is viewed sacramentally as though it is something established by God.

F that. "Rivalry" can mean a big, nasty game with high stakes between two opponents who hate but respect each other, and which every college football fan in the country wants to watch. That is LSU-Alabama. Ancient history has nothing to do with it.

LSU-Alabama is on average the most-watched college football matchup nationally since 2007, if I am not mistaken. Somebody post those stats.

So enough of this "new money" bullshite. Nobody cares.

LSU will beat the FAggies easily but watch out for the pigs. They are a pretty good team and hungry for an SEC win.
