Nothing is irrelevant to my posted topics. I am open to discussion. This post was primarily about money in relation to football. Broad assumptions are always welcome, however...any time.

i was in box seats when we shut out lsu so i didn't get to rush the field but when that boot glinted in the sun is was a beauty to behold! When the gleam hit my eyes I wept like a child and thanked god I was alive. I then asked god to send the tigers home quickly so they could begin the long recovery from that most brutal beatdown.

At the school level but with a new SEC leader replacing Slive we now know where that increase in year end bonus will come from.

I'm not sure if it's been said, but I don't think that the SEC can force a school to give it money. I'm sure the fine shows up when money is distributed to the schools from the SEC home office.

"LSU, we have your payout"

$31,000,000: payout
-$50,000: Field violation
$30,950,000: total payment

$50,000 for a field violation though? As opposed to $5,000 a year ago. That is pure horse shite.

I'm sure the risk of such a fine will be thoroughly considered by a feverishly excited mass of drunk students whose team just pulled-off a huge upset.
Mobs are thoughtful like that.

Damn! If Auburn were to luck up and beat Alabama this year, the new rule would probably put them back in the red.
