Ole Miss?
Alabama?
Kentucky?

Can't speak for GaTech, but Flagship goes a LONG way beyond sports.,.....just a FYI.

I think of Ga. Tech as the more academic of the two.

UGA is top 3 best academics in the SEC, it's no slight to them.

I really don't know, hence the ?'s

I think Ole Miss is better academically, a nicer campus and a better national perception than Miss. State.

I know AU is curently better in academics than Bama, but I think that Bama has historically been the flagship school.

I considered going to AU at one point, FWIW.

Flagship doesn't necessarily mean "better academics." If that were the case, EMORY would trump em all in Georgia.
