The questions were bound to come. As soon as Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops retired Wednesday afternoon, the questions were coming for Nick Saban.

Saban, who is nearly 9 years older than Stoops, said he’ll coach as long as his health holds. Saban spoke with reporters at his annual Nick’s Kids charity golf tournament at Old Overton on Thursday.

“As long as I feel good, I love doing it,” Saban said. “I’ve said this before. I’ve been a part of a team since I was 9 years old, and it scares me to death to figure what it’s going to be like when I’m not a part of a team.

“As long as I feel healthy and I can do it, we certainly have every intention of trying to do it. If I felt like I couldn’t do it to the standard that I want to do it then I think that would be time not to do it. But I certainly don’t feel like that’s any time soon.”

If you believe a word out of Saban's mouth, you are as gullible as a 17 year old recruit.

Enjoy him while he's there, Bama people. He's giving you guys probably the only thing good in your life.

Sorry. Had to do it.

If you think that a-hole is gonna quit coaching anytime soon, you're just wishful thinking.

You know if he retires Ms. Terry is going to have certain expectations. No wonder Little Nicky is scared.

Sounds like a psychopath

But good, let him coach into the 80s and run Bama into the ground. Bama won't have the balls to fire him once the mediocrity starts

He will stroke out on the sideline during a title run 10+ years from now before he allows Bama to get mediocre.

He won't walk away on top but sooner rather than later he's not going to be able to keep up with the demands of the job/the game will pass him by, thats just reality.

We're much closer to the end of the Saban era than we are to the beginning. If he wants to hang on past his time like Joe Pa and Bobby did and Bama fans are okay with it then good for him.

No, you've lost 2 of 3.

But I wouldn't expect a guy who's trying to talk shite about another teams coach while posting from an account named after Ed Orgeron to be anything more than a troll anyway.

ETA:

And what does Malzahn have to do with games 5 and 6 years ago? Idiot
