I only get it right roughly 50% of the time, mainly because I don't know very many folks with Germanic family names.

I hope you are right. But right now I feel as if Saban took a giant dump in my corn flakes

At one point of time during the season we will see Jalen Hurts play he is just too talented to keep off the field, I just hope it isn't in a situation like the Ole Miss game where he gets put in when the game is too out of hand.

Not much depth on the D-Line though

Never trust "insiders". How many have claimed that Hurt was already named?

Some guy on the radio was saying something about Pierschbacher's timing being off. But he probably doesn't know.

Who would have down voted this statement? This may likely be the reason. I do know there is a chemistry between center and QB that is essential if you're going to be successful. And I ain't talking about the chemistry because he has his hands on your balls either.

It's the same every year the new guy is the best ever and making the others look silly yet it's usually the more experienced player who understands the offense that gets the nod. He had only won four NC with three first year QBs and the last depended on a QB that had lost his job earlier in the year.

Saban" we arent giving up on jalen hurts for this season in some form" but its clear hes out of the race. Some dam hack on bleacher report always pulls some 3rd stringer will start. It never happens. Last year cornwell was gonna start. Aj was gonna start over mcelroy. I wish people would stop the daydreaming.I spoke with a radio team member over the weekend and Bateman is the qb and the coaches have been pleased with his grasp of his responsibilities. Mature is the word he used. Barnett may play some but Bateman is the guy.

Don't know about the center but, bama fans were proclaiming a starting Dline of 5*.

That didn't happen. Not for the first game at least. Happy for tomlinson. He's paid his dues and deserves to start.

It was also said by multiple bama posters on here that the defensive two deep was nothing but 5* starters being backed up by 5* subs.

The 5* starters are there there just aren't that many 5* backups listd on the two deep. What is it one Dlineman (hand) and one LB ( evans)?

These two jacklegs. Is Womack ready to step in if Cam goes down?

Just an absolutely disgusting defense Bama will trot out there again this season. In my opinion the best pass rushing unit we've had under Saban and an outstanding secondary. Exciting to put it mildly.

How do you pronounce it? I can get the German consonants...probably. 'Sch' would be more an "sh" sound (as in 'schoen,' though words like 'schnapps' don't fit) and the "ch" is generally a 'k' sound (as in the Germanic 'Richard'.) But the first syllable diphthong is unclear to me.
