Someone made a thread here pretty recently comparing him to former Alabama centers, I guess saying he had a chance at being an All-American center.

We'll see - he played 1 quarter last season. I don't know how good he'll be, but my guess is our OC will run stuff that is as conducive to him being successful as we have. Don't know if that will work or not.

Pretty sure that Hurts is going to parachute into the stadium just before kick-off and Saban doesn't want to spoil the surprise.

Yea, sounded pretty bad. Then again, Blake's 2014 scrimmages were legendarily rough and things turned out ok there.

Lol. Yeah. I doubt anyone said that. He would have been replacing a first rounder at center. Either way he started 15 games at guard last year.
