Where are you coming up with this, seriously?

You're telling me you want to recruit four surrounding states against FSU, Florida, UGA and LSU

The proof is in the pudding. It's apparently the recipe for success.

Look I don't think you're entirely wrong but right now I'm wondering if you're trying to convince us or yourself with this stuff. You're being very biased and delusional.

I remember the feeling this way well trying to convince myself and others than Saban would be much better off stay ing at LSU than trying he NFL. You have my sympathies.

Anyone notice the 2 SEC programs that Saban coached are the highest in debt?

I would at the drop of a hat bet anything I own against a ten dollar bill that nick saban won't be the coach at Texas next year. They're writing the book on how not to hire him.

You can't tell these dreamers anything. Nothing you say matters...you're a Bama fan.

Texas kids have been SWC and Big12 growing up for decades while never having to leave the sate to play games. SEC kids have been growing up torn between great schools in the SEC and ACC for decades.

Texas has everything on Alabama except the SEC.

And they've got what, a title or two to show for it? You're not helping prove your point. And the kids today, all over the country, have grown up watching alabama dominate. Alabama is the premiere program in the country to these kids that are old enough to be recruited and to the ones that are old enough to take an interest in the sport.

The kids growing up playing pee wee football today that will be recruits in 5 years don't know who Vince young or Sergio kindle are, but they do know that Alabama wins, and they win more than everyone else. This is a new generation. What Texas did in the SWC days doesn't mean shite to a kid in Houston.

Keep dreaming boys 6, 8 maybe 12 years from now, you might get it right, after Saban solidifies his claim as the greatest ever and Bama has 22 or so skins on the wall.

Money is a wash. No matter what you say the REC would match any number.
Recruiting is a non starter. Saban is getting what he wants out of AL then picks players coast to coast. He would do the same at UT.
T-town is closer to Lake Burton.
UT would be a new challenge .
But in the end it will come down to Miss Terry. If she says no he will not go.

All of this. We've seen valid reasons in this thread as to why it isn't a better job and only "Texas is a better job" as to why it is. At least sunhog is trying, he's just wrong.

I don't technically own my car just yet. I've got some nice guns though, do you believe in the second amendment?

Nick Saban.

Programs are bigger than one man especially when one has every single advantage over the other except for the conference.

Texas 7-1-1 vs Alabama.

But the one that Bama won counts the most.

You're God damn right they are. And by any metric you want to use, no program has reached he pinnacle as often as Alabama. All of these "advantages" you're trying to point to aren't advantages, they're equalities at the very best.
