I'm sure Urban isn't happy about it. Wise move by Saban, and will pay off if bama meets OSU again in the next year or two.

its not like they just plain out got beat. osu made the couple of plays they needed to in order to secure victory.

I don't know, it seemed inevitable watching it, and the stats kind of bear that out:

3rd down efficiency: 2-13 vs 10-18

Rushing yards: 170 vs 281

It kind of reminded me of the 2007 BCSCG game - only in reverse.

I wonder what would compel him to offer that information up. I guess flattery.

Anybody remember when then former Utah and current UF coach Urban Meyer consulted with Kyle Whittingham and Utah for the Sugar Bowl vs Alabama?

I'm sure Saban does.

Unlike fans who hate each other, the players & coaches are kinda a fraternity... The players don't hate each other in most cases, hell most of them know each other & know what they've all been thru to get to their level. I'm assuming it's the same with coaches as it is in any business, you always gotta network, talk etc..

If I didn't hate you I would have given you an upvote for a reasonable answer to the question and tell you I agree. However, since we are not coaches or players I can't do that.

Did Herman tell him he shoulda run the ball more? Bama wins that game if Kiffen pulls his head out his arse and slows the game down by pounding the ball. But no, he kept lettin Simms slinging it 3 picks , one was a pick 6

Saban likely wanted to meet with Malzahn since Auburn had more points and yards than Ohio State. However, I have it on good authority that Malzahn told the midget to go frick himself and expect more of the same next year

I doubt Saban even thinks about that game anymore. I'll still say that we would've waxed that Mormon arse if our players gave a damn, and didn't just party their arse off in New Orleans.

Not to mention how much of a disadvantage a team has, when you have to play Mormons in New Orleans.

Going 4-4 in conference and losing to Bama again? Yeah, I think we're all looking forward to more of that.

I could have told them for free. Defense stopped tackling and the defensive backs couldn't cover anyone all season. Also, the overthrown pass from Sims on a questionable trick play stopped the momentum Bama was enjoying.

I bet Hernan told him a bunch of things. Stop playing so much man to man coverage when your corners are garbage. Your linebackers are fat and slow. Get a better rush. Your schemes are outdated. Fire Kirby ASAP.

here's the problem, our defense just wasn't that good last year, especially in the secondary. They exposed us. Period

This. I mean shite, AU put up what, 600 yards in the previous game? And a defensive back passed for 400 yards in that game?

Gus is 1-1 against Saban and about to be 2-1 in less than 5 months.

This article was basically just a big excuse for Bama getting humiliated for the second year in a row after being gifted a bowl game.
