Saban's a dick. He should have suspended Cam a game or two for making bad decisions (guns and drugs don't mix) but instead he's playing lawyer which makes him look stupid and an arse. At least Finebaum had the balls to ask.

Right because Les would have suspended him for dropped charges. No big-time coach at a big-time school is going to suspend his best player for a huge game unless he has to. Richt was about the only one, and he got the boot.

He basically said that "I'm Nick Saban. I'll do whatever I want. I'm a god on earth here at Alabama. You don't like it. I don't fricking care. Do something about it, if you dare."

Maybe Saban should hold a team vote instead.

Did you feel the same about Les Miles? I assume you thought he was a total coward for holding a team vote for Jeremy Hill.

Except it wasnt and there isnt.

The stolen gun was on Jones' lap along with weed in plain sight. There was no illegal search.

Weed was not on his lap. The gun on his lap was legal and Hootie told him he had it and pointed out it was in plain sight. There was no reason to search the car. And certainly no reason to let two passengers go, while arresting the two football players from the state's biggest rival.

I love when people who have no actual knowledge of the law try to sound smart.

I love comments like this from the fanbase that's always the first to call us (LSU fans) paranoid.

I love when cajuns don't know how to read legal documents and reports of the actual events.

What if Saban held a team vote?

I clearly did not say it was.

Weed was seen in plain sight and a stolen handgun was underneath the seat of Robinson. Possessing a stolen handgun is a felony btw. So still no reason to arrest them?

so you admit you have no idea what even constitutes probable cause or a valid search resulting from a legal arrest?

In what way does this have anything to do with what I said?

Show me in the report where the weed was in plain sight. The stolen gun would have never been found without an illegal search.
