I mean, not really. His point was pretty clear - there were 4 people in the car and only the 2 football players got arrested. In addition, basically the entire reason the charges were dropped was due to the illegal search. So, that's a real thing.

pretty sure hot summer workouts was the reason for no charges

Look, Saban is who he is. He's like 64 now, he's not changing. And truthfully these moments when he goes on rants are media gold, they should love that. I think that's why Paul baited that hook so well, he knew he would get a great clip out of it and Saban delivered. Personally, I think it's hilarious and as a Bama fan it's of of those unique endearing qualities about a great coach much like Spurrier's classic barbs. Good for the game, and much better than the lame, boring coach-speak most coaches like Gus and Freeze use that will put an audience to sleep.

No, that was the statement the judge made. The actual released statements gave the actual reasons, and it was legal in nature, not the asinine stuff the judge said.

Of course you do. saban could take a shite, in the middle of your living room, and you would keep it there as a memento. This is the same guy that blamed the fanbase for a bowl loss, and you people agreed with him.

Saban's a dick. He should have suspended Cam a game or two for making bad decisions (guns and drugs don't mix) but instead he's playing lawyer which makes him look stupid and an arse. At least Finebaum had the balls to ask.

You will have to show me where he said that? He said there were numerous questions that led to the dismissal of the charges, but he also said they didn't condone the behavior, which is why they have been doing community service, etc since the incident.

"I want to emphasize once again that the main reason I'm doing this is that I refuse to ruin the lives of two young men who have spent their adolescence and their teenage years, working and sweating, while we were all home in the air conditioning," Jones told KNOE.

Says the guy who, in the 3 years I have been here, have never made a post that wasn't slurping Gus/AU or throwing knives at Alabama. Pot-Kettle-Black.

I didn't say he was right or wrong, but he makes decisions, feels good about them and then doesn't give a shite what the media, fanbase or anyone else says.

Penn State fans loved Joe Paterno's words of wisdom classic barbs as well...y'all are a hair away of being as looney as they.

Except it wasnt and there isnt.

The stolen gun was on Jones' lap along with weed in plain sight. There was no illegal search.

Well since it was the DA's office that came out cans said the reason they weren't going to prosecute was because of the "asinine stuff", I'm going to go ahead and say you're full of shite.

This isn't really the right thread for it, but has the investigation into the stolen gun been closed by the county PD in Alabama?

Last I saw one of the players was implicated. I'm guessing it's Hootie.
