But Bama has been running a lot of HUNH, fast-paced offense with spread concepts for at least a couple of years now.

You are correct but what you guys have been running and what Chip runs are not alike.

In the interview I just heard on the radio Saban said he wants to go to a pro set with some spread concepts. That's not Chi Kelly

FWIW most of us on the Alabama board want Sterlin Gilbert, not Chip Kelly.

You don't think Sterlin Gilbert would leave USF for Alabama?

It is a weird answer, but no. I think he has proven himself, and is knocking on the door for head coach. I think his next move will be head coach.

We can only hope this happens. Chip Kelly ain't gonna take a sideline butt chewing. There would be fisticuffs.

How the conversation actually went, probably

Doubt it.

Would be a weird hire, I can't see Saban screaming at Kelly like he did with Kiffin.

So a guy who is "knocking on the door" to be a head coach just went from the offensive coordinator position at Texas to the same role at South Florida, but he wouldn't take the OC spot at Alabama?

You may want to run that through your head one more time.

3 LSU fans immediately claiming it is impossible

Interesting

That called full blown FEAR, arse puckered, trembling in the corner praying for a safe space for their team.

L7U is coming no matter what but the embarrament level is all they care about nowadays. See the comments on how they played Bama closer than anyone else, tied in thevery 4th and etc.

TFEAR is real.

I 100% want you to get Kelly

I would not want you to get Tee Martin

I'm not even sure Tee Martin had full play calling duties after their rough start.

Assuming it was his offense, I do not want him at Bama.

Bama and LSU need a middle ground offense, which is what Kiffin, Sark, Canada, Martin, Gilbert bring.

Kelly at Bama would have their offense rolling, but it will absolutely crush your defense. He was dead last in time of possession while at Oregon. You thought watching Clemson run 98 plays sucked, well that is the norm when you have Chip.

I would rather face Bama with a Kelly offense and weakened D, than what they have been putting out there with Kiffin.

Unfortunately for Saban, Kelly has no past record of alcoholism, philandering, or assault so I don't think he fits in well for you guys.
