I also call a coach with a team full 5*s getting about 3 or 4 drafted high shitty development. With that level of talent compared to his competitors, he should never lose a game. Saban has always won and shown at a level below what his talent was capable of. That's why 3*s from crap schools are being drafted above his players and lasting long in the NFL.

With all that said, why in hell would any elite high school athlete pick Auburn over Alabama to play their college ball?.
I answered to this part, Crisp. There are a lot of reasons and I’m sure players like Kerryon would agree.

Lots of ignorance and deflection.

Stop trying to answer the question if you feel a headache coming on.

You’re embarrassing yourself.
With that said, it could be argued that giving players cars, family members jobs, and coaches giving players loans play a factor into players making the better business decisions

YOUR FIRST POST
Rounds 4 through 7 the NFL largely drafts guys from coaches they trust. Saban is one, Kirby is another, and a lot of big ten guys get picked up late because they are technically well coached. Scouts also tend to trust about 5 blue blood programs and give their borderline guys the benefit of the doubt. As an AU fan I ask myself this in regards to the draft...
Does Stephen Roberts, Tray Mathews, Jeff Holland, Austin Golson get drafted had they played at Bama? Ofcourse they do.
Does Deshawn Hand get drafted had he had same career at AU? Not a chance. Are Carl Lawson, Montravious Adams, and Carlton Davis 1st rounders had they played for Saban? I tend to think they would be.
Tough to admit but Gus has a horrible rep with NFL and its proof when you watch the draft.
NOW THIS POST
1.AU still recruits at an elite level and can compete with Bama and anyone else at certain positions (DL,RB). Those are usually the guys getting drafted out of AU.
2.AU has done enough recent winning to appeal to the top players wanting to have a chance at Championships.
3.Some of these guys are truly looking for best fit over the next 4 years and not "just" thinking NFL.
........................................................
Read both posts side-by-side and tell me what makes the most sense for an elite athlete.

Tell that to Cam.
The truth is, Holland should have come back to school.
Auburn did not lose much off of the roster. Players available in the draft has as much to do with the numbers as anything.

Amazing that these GMs think so poorly of Gus's players, but he has embarrassed all those first round draft picks for 3 out of 5 years. Throw in with what Freeze did, and you get a sense of why GMs have such a high turnover rate. Like I said, Bama has talent, but they are usually selected two rounds ahead of where they should be. I guess they listen to Phil Savage and his SR evaluation.

You keep slinging the mud but, yet, you’re the one that sounds obtuse. Business decisions are not exclusive to NFL aspirations. If it was, there would obviously be no reason for the cars and the “stuff.”

Which team cared more about that game? Auburn or UCF? I think the answer is pretty obvious to anybody with half of a brain left.

Well, that gives further credence to UCF "claiming" the NC then. Auburn beat the shite out of the eventual NC, yet lost to UCF. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

How'd Auburn* do in the Playoffs?
Oh wait...
ZERO Championships since 2013.
