Auburn also had four top ten classes and no first round picks. Only program to accomplish that feat.

Sounds about right. Bama will just have to endure until they can get a coach of Gus' caliber

That's okay, our guys will have better, longer careers than your 1st rounders anyway.
Minkah is your only 1st rounder that will still be around and relevant in 4 years.

The only Barner around 4 years from now will be your kicker.

Kerryon Johnson and Braden Smith will be around a lot longer than Evans or Ridley.

We all know Saban threw that game to give his players much needed rest.

What’s sad is that you actually believe this.

Did an Auburn fan start this thread? I can't see over the stacked championships.

5 Straight #1 Classes and couldn't even win the West. Had to have the committee give them a Mulligan.

Agreed, it was embarrassing that they couldn't overcome the injuries to a sufficient degree to beat the Gus Bus and crew. But, a couple minor corrections/clarifications just to stay historically correct:

A. they were co-division champs.
B. UGA received the benefit of a mulligan. They got to repeat the same action and were rewarded with a better result. UA simply benefited from being the "best of the rest" option in the end after 1-3 were a given for the CFPs.
