Although he did have 40% rushing attempts and ran 19 times in one game. He's not really a a typical pocket passer. However he's going to have a lot to throw to so maybe he'll do a bit less running.

and you have no clue as to what you're talking about.

1. he is pro-style. that's all he ever ran in high school.

2. he isn't a great runner yet b/c he's been a pro style QB

3. he's still very fast for a 6-4 QB and can throw on the run, and therefore he's mobile

JJ's response to a journalist about his mobility...

quote:

"I lean toward both ways," Jefferson said in assessing his own game.

He did not mean, he said, that he is equally comfortable in both offenses (he prefers the traditional attack). But he is committed to making the play the situation requires.

quote:

"I'll use my athletic ability to run the ball when I have to, but my philosophy is throw it first and run second," he said. "I would like to get the yards by passing. I want to throw the ball, but I will make whatever play we think can beat you. That's basically how I play football."

Rivals, Scout, and ESPN ranked him as a "top 10 pro-style" QB out of high school.

So what was your point again?

He ran the ball 40% of the time and had 19 rushes in one game. That's a stat and not an opinion.

A guy who runs 19 times in a game isn't really a pocket passer in my opinion. That's an opinion and not a stat.

Please explain you thoughts on what makes him a pocket passer. His percentage of rushes per snap was greater than Kodi Burns last year. That is also a stat and not an opinion.

WTF are you talking about Doc? JJ is totally all about running before throwing. Not to mention he had the whole playbook memorized by the North Texas game so its not like any of those rushes were scrambles, sacks, or easy to remember runs or anything.

Goodness gracious!

and yet, anyway you cut it: 60% > 40%

correct?

you are a moron

at that point, he didn't know the playbook that well (he even said it himself) and was using more instincts to get yards than the playbook.

I just did bamatard. I even gave you quotes and stuff.

I'm totally with you buddy. I mean, compare Jefferson and Burn's stats in the past two Chicken Bowls! They're identical!

So does that make Kodi Burns a pocket passer.

Another good one! Thanks for the quotes and stuff. I don't think they mean as much as the stats "and stuff."

Stats are the reality. You're basing the type of QB he is by quotes. I'm looking at the stats and seeing what the guy has done. You might be the one having problems with reality.

Randle will be good in time but I dont see the AJ Green or Julio type numbers this season. To say the kid will have over 900 yards with Lafell and Tolliver is pushing it just a little bit. I can see him around the 400-600 range with about 5 touchdowns. AJ and Julio came into situations where they were having to play right away and Rueben is not in the same situation.

Statistics can be manipulated to fit the desires of the individual interpreting them...

Watch game film. Jefferson's runs came on broken down plays, scrambles, designed runs, and sacks.

You are not great at the internet bully act. Practice makes perfect though.

But good job with the profanity. Junior High represent!

just because he's mobile doesn't make him a "run first" QB who isn't a legit pocket passer.
