Again with this "decline" shite. From what? Sucking for 75 years? Can't decline from being nothing.

look, another A&M thread by an LSU fan

Sarge, you are not the only aggie fan (or only LSU fan) that responds this way EVERY frickING TIME an aggie thread is started.

you probably don't realize how trite it is already. how boring and thoughtless.

what I mean is that your predictable response IS A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND ENERGY. maybe you should try using your brain before posting.

Here is the plan:

1. Win 9+ games for a "successful" season
2. Rebound in recruiting as a result of "successful" season
3. ???
4. Profit

I'd guess that at least 10k of his 22k posts since 2012 (btw, maybe get out of the house more Sarge) are whining about people posting about A&M or calling A&M someone's daddy

That doesn't make sense (at least to me) and, in any event, is so juvenile that I'm not sure you're getting your message across. Anyway, if you want to post the same things over and over because you think it is clever, carry on.

If he wins 9 he is staying. We don't have the kind of history needed to fire a coach after ten wins and survive the PR backlash. People mocked Nebraska for doing it, and we are way worse historically than Nebraska

Ohio State fired Earl Bruce after winning 9 and they never looked back. best move they ever made.

we won't ever win the west under sumlin, but i'd be shocked if he were fired after 9-3 (or better), and shocked if he were retained after 8-4 (or worse).

it is hard to fire someone after 9-3 in the SECW. however, we're now throwing serious money at football. at some point, the swinging dicks are going to want to see a return on their investment.

I'm just trying to figure out what Sarge's angle is. Every thread his first post is either remarking that someone posted the thread or all A&M all the time or some other nonsense. Then he calls A&M everyone's daddy. Then he defends A&M. If he could skip the first two salvos in every thread, he might make a little more sense. I was truly interested to see why he says A&M is "daddy." My next question is why the hell he thinks being "daddy" is such an awesome thing to post nonstop.

he and several other aggies have multiple accounts and start aTm threads under these other accounts, then answer their own threads

sad aggie reality, just trying to gain some relevance

Well, to be fair, you showed up on The Rant being an complete Aggy-Hating arse stain, like some Aggy fricked your husband and now you're pissed. No newb ever has that much hatred.

You continue to spew your Aggy vitriol and rattle off the fricking longhorn talking points like you're Randolph Duke from shaggybevo (or whatever the frick they call it now).

So, whose alter are you?

I am not opposed to giving a coach 5 years to get some hardware, then mercilessly moving on, regardless of the last season's results.

With the amount of money and resources provided to Sumlin, there should be no excuse. To me, a 9-win season is not enough, especially given the shittastic nature of his ability to handle things recently.

But, I am not a BMA with any sort of sway or power. I now a few BMAs, and they really want to see us in Atlanta in 2016 or they are pretty much done. The DFW BMAs are pissed at Sumlin right now.

Hopefully, Sumlin delivers or there's money where those mouths are.

A&M isn't declining from anything.

Let's face it, A&M's stone-age accomplishments are meaningless. Sumlin has brought the aggies their best results in the modern era of the world. He should be given a lifetime appointment. Sure, he'll never win the conference, but he has done more with A&M than any other coach will do in our lifetimes.

Not improving your record once in four seasons should be a red flag. Whether it be on coaching ability or recruiting, something isn't right.

Eight wins should be the absolute minimum that Sumlin needs to even be considered for another season. Anything less and he should be fired on the spot.

What brings you here, longhorn? Come to crow about your 5-7 record last season?

9 wins wouldn't do it for me. Hardware or get the frick out.
